Democrats do not want Joe Biden to run for re-election.
Everyone on the left who has presidential ambitions is making no secret about their desire to run in 2024.
And this top Democrat just let the cat out of the bag on Hillary Clinton replacing Joe Biden.
Democrats know that Joe Biden is senile and growing more cognitively decrepit every day.
Biden recently fell into a stupor during an interview and needed the MSNBC activist to rouse him back to alertness.
Few really believe Biden can actually carry out his duties as president right now let alone at 86 – which is how old Biden would be at the end of a second term.
That’s why a CNN poll showed 75 percent of Democrats want a new candidate in 2024.
But which Democrat could take Biden’s spot on the ballot?
One Democrat who continues to make every move of a White House aspirant is Hillary Clinton.
Clinton’s delivered major speeches, held campaign events with down-ballot candidates, and gone on a media tour trying to position herself as the electable liberal by warning that embracing socialism is a loser for the party.
And now none other than Chelsea Clinton dropped the latest bread crumb that Hillary could run for president in 2024 if Biden passes on a re-election bid.
Never Trump “The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin – who will change her political identity based on who is signing her paychecks – asked Chelsea Clinton if Joe Biden was the best Democrat to take on Donald Trump in 2024 citing a New York Times poll showing Trump leading Biden in a rematch.
“We all agree Donald Trump shouldn’t be anywhere near the presidency, but what scares me is there’s a new New York Times poll that has him head-to-head beating Biden by one [point]. The same poll had Biden previously has Biden ahead. Do you, as a prominent and respected Democrat, think Biden is the best person to take on Trump in 2024?” Griffin asked Clinton.
Chelsea Clinton offered up a lengthy response that completely ducked the question of if she wanted Joe Biden on the ballot in 2024 as the president running for re-election.
Clinton stated:
Well, I am really proud of everything that President Biden has done. You know, even yesterday — — when the white house, you know, said that under — under President Biden we’ve had 700,000 new manufacturing jobs created, right? Under Trump, we lost more than 120,000. I mean, that’s just the most recent anecdote and data point of how good I think he’s been for our country.
Alyssa, though, I do share your concern and know you’ve been really just loudly saying to anyone and everyone who will listen, we have to stop Donald Trump from getting anywhere near the White House. That is dangerous for our democracy. It is dangerous for our decency. It’s dangerous when we think about anti-Semitism. It’s dangerous when we think about any threat to who we are and who we can be as a country and also to our planet because, you know, he doesn’t believe in climate change.
Clinton’s response also came over one week before the midterm election in which Democrats expect to take a beating.
The size and scope of the defeat will play a large role in determining the volume of the crisis from within the Democrat Party for Joe Biden to step down.
And if Joe Biden does not run for re-election many expect that Hillary Clinton will be among the Democrats entering the 2024 primary.
