America is facing a crisis on every front.
The President is working to solve these problems, restart the nation’s economy and win re-election.
And now a wounded combat veteran went on TV and just made this one plea that changed everything.
Texas Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw lost an eye serving in Afghanistan back in 2012.
Crenshaw recently appeared on Fox News to discuss the state of Texas’s fight against the coronavirus.
While Texas is seeing a surge in coronavirus cases, Crenshaw noted that it was due in some part to increased testing.
And while not all of the increase could be chalked up to testing and instead resulted from community spread, Crenshaw noted that the two most important metrics were fatalities and hospitalizations.
Crenshaw pointed out that hospitalizations in Houston – one of the hardest hit areas in Texas – had “flattened out” which means that people entering the hospital reached its peak and should soon begin to decline.
“So we should also be looking at hospitalizations, if fact, we should be focusing on hospitalizations and death rates. As far as hospitalizations go in Houston, one of the hardest-hit places in Texas, our growth rate in hospitalizations has almost flattened. Now that’s a few days of good trends, it could change, and we have to be cautious and continue to wear our masks, socially distance and not gather in large groups,” Crenshaw stated.
Crenshaw also noted that the fatality rate was “ten-fold” lower than what the nation saw New York suffer from back in March and April.
“Our death rate in Texas continues to be one of the best in the world, actually. You know it’s 10 times higher in New York and has a fatality rate — again, we are one of the best in the world,” Crenshaw added.
Congressman Crenshaw also destroyed the fake news media myth that hospitals were at capacity.
“Our hospitals still have vast amounts of capacity. They can surge upwards of thousands of beds. Now, this is an important point because a lot of Democrat politicians and media pundits have deliberately misled the public on this,” Crenshaw explained.
The fake news media is fear mongering about coronavirus outbreaks in Arizona, Florida, Texas and Georgia because they think whipping up hysteria about overhyped panic will drive down President Trump’s numbers in those states and hand them to Joe Biden on November 3.
Dan Crenshaw is telling Americans to not believe the hype about the media narrative of disaster unfolding in Texas.
“Made people believe that their hospitals are overrun when they are not. And this is really problematic and actually deadly. Because people are too afraid to go to the hospital to get care for whatever kind of illness they might have, and so it’s really important for people to know that if they need care, they need to go to the hospital.”
