Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez operates like an open book.
There are some things Ocasio-Cortez tried to keep to herself.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez confessed a truth about herself that no one saw coming.
CNN host Chris Wallace asked Ocasio-Cortez why she tends to get so personal in her online feuds with Republicans and Elon Musk.
Wallace pointed to one back-and-forth where conservatives mocked Ocasio-Cortez for supporting lockdowns yet vacationing with her boyfriend in Florida where there were no pandemic restrictions.
Ocasio-Cortez’s response was to claim her critics on the right just wanted to date her.
In her back-and-forth with Musk, Ocasio-Cortez falsely accused Musk of censoring her account and then mocked Musk while eating chicken nuggets on a video posted to her social media.
“So it turns out we got under a certain little billionaire’s skin. There’s something that is so satisfying about just being here in the Bronx in part Chester, where my dog and we have a billionaire pressed, like pah-ressed! The American Dream, baby!” Ocasio-Cortez sneered.
Wallace wondered why Ocasio-Cortez went there.
“So first of all, and you’re a master at messaging, I think you actually made a mistake there because I know a lot of people focused more on the chicken nugget you were eating — couldn’t get past that. But why, again, why make things so personal?” Wallace wondered.
“I think. We need to make the issues that we discuss real. And the fact of the matter is, is that we are in a point in not just American society, but our global economy, where the concentration of wealth and power has become so focused that it is literally identifiable people, not coalitions, not groups, not and not anything else like that,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
Ridicule is one of Saul Alinsky’s key rules for radicals.
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage,” Alinsky wrote.
This is why liberal activists infiltrated shows like “Saturday Night Live” and weaponize humor to destroy Republicans.
Sarah Palin never said that she could see Russia from her house but Tina Fey delivering that line when she played Palin during the 2008 election so seared itself into the public’s mind that Americans identified Palin as the ditz who claimed she was a foreign policy expert because of the view from her kitchen window.
Ocasio-Cortez then got down to the real brass tacks of her beef with Musk.
And what really got Ocasio-Cortez hot under the collar was the fact that Musk purchased Twitter so he could eliminate some of the censorship protocols on the platform.
“Not not a company, but one individual that has control over what has largely been deemed an important public square of sorts of democratic discourse. I think it’s important for us to call attention to that, because it’s not just a you know, this isn’t this isn’t just like a flippant message. This is an individual that is responsible and over stewarding a platform that has been a very important realm of political expression, like the Arab Spring, like many of our election discourse and the decisions that are made over that has have brought implications,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
Ever since Donald Trump won the 2016 election in large part because of his mastery of the ability to communicate to the American people via Twitter the left pursued censorship on social media with religious fervor.
Couching their desire to suppress their opponents’ ability to speak under the objective of stopping the spread of misinformation, liberals successfully pressured Facebook and Twitter to censor any narrative that proved inconvenient for the left.
The apex of the censorship push was Twitter and Facebook helping Democrats rig the 2020 election by censoring the New York Post’s reporting on the emails contained on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Ocasio-Cortez fears that if Elon Musk owns Twitter the left cannot count on Big Tech to press its thumb on the scale in the 2024 election.
