Democrats just impeached Donald Trump for a second time.
Trump supporters are nervous as corporate America and Big Tech unite to cancel the President and their voices.
And now Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used one word about civil conflict that made heads turn.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the rest of the Democrats and ten RINO Republicans all voted to impeach President Trump claiming he incited insurrection at the Capitol with his speech at a “March to Save America” rally just before Congress began the process of certifying the results of the Electoral College.
Just as that ceremonial event began, rioters attacked the Capitol and forced lawmakers into retreat.
After the riot Democrats seethed with rage and immediately set about impeaching President Trump for a second time.
The night before the vote on impeachment, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez livestreamed a rant to her followers on social media attacking President Trump and his supporters as white supremacists.
“They give a damn about white supremacy, they care about preserving the social order and the mythology of whiteness,” Ocasio-Cortez ranted. “They lust for power more than they care about democracy.”
Ocasio-Cortez then employed fiery language that Democrats once claimed President Trump used to incite civil conflict.
The socialist congresswoman said the only way to remove Republicans from power in southern states was to “liberate” them.
Ocasio-Cortez falsely claimed Republicans suppressed the votes to keep these states red and the only way to heal as a nation was “actual liberation” of the people that live in the Deep South.
“That’s what we got to do. We got to organize. And I think what we saw in Georgia is a really good example with black women leading the way, with multiracial and multicultural organizations leading the way, um, they proved that southern states are not red states,” Ocasio-Cortez stated. “They are suppressed states. Which means the only way that our country is going to heal is through the actual liberation of southern states, the actual liberation of the poor, the actual liberation of working people—from economic, social, and racial oppression. That’s the only way. That’s the only way.”
By the standards the Democrats used against Donald Trump in this snap impeachment proceeding, many Republicans would argue that Ocasio-Cortez is fomenting civil conflict and should be expelled from the U.S. House of Representatives.
This rhetoric is especially dangerous after prominent liberals spent months egging on Black Lives Matter and antifa rioters this summer as violent mobs laid siege to American cities across the country.
In a speech to the nation delivered after the impeachment vote, President Trump asked all Americans for calm and to lower the political temperature.
Will the left listen?
