Democrats and the corporate media peddled a major falsehood about the 2020 election.
They just got called out for this fake narrative.
And all hell broke loose when Democrats got called out for a major 2020 election lie.
In the aftermath of the 2020 election, Democrats and their allies in the corporate media began falsely claiming Donald Trump represented a threat to American democracy by claiming Democrats stole the election through massive voter fraud.
Of course, this was a lie.
Every time the Democrats lose an election, they claim the contest was illegitimate and the Republicans were not the rightful winners.
The Democrat playbook of saying any election won by Republicans is fake came into focus once again when Joe Biden claimed the 2022 midterm elections – which Republicans look likely to win back control of one or both Houses of Congress – were illegitimate unless Congress passed legislation allowing the federal government – which is currently run by Democrats – to seize control of elections in all 50 states.
“Oh, yeah, I think it could easily be illegitimate,” Biden added, “The increase in the prospect of being illegitimate is in proportion to not being able to get these reforms passed.”
On Fox News, Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley slammed the corporate media narrative pointing out that it is a staple of the Democrat Party to claim every election they lose is illegitimate.
“Well, what I heard was what Joe Biden said loud and clear, which is he’s already making excuses for why he’s going to lose in November,” Hawley told host Pete Hegseth.
Hawley blasted Democrats for claiming Trump undermined democracy when Democrats claimed Republicans stole the 2000, 2004 and 2016 presidential elections.
“That’s what this is all about. Democrats don’t accept elections that they don’t win. I mean it happened in 2000, it happened in 2004, it happened in 2016. Now it’s going to be 2022. If Joe Biden thought that his party was going to win these elections, then all would be fine. But he thinks – and because the polls suggest – he’s going to lose them. His party’s going to lose them – the House and the Senate – and therefore they’re illegitimate. I mean it’s dangerous, it’s wrong, it’s ridiculous,” Hawley stated.
Democrats and the corporate media hate hearing this truth.
The late Georgia Congressman John Lewis boycotted George W. Bush and Donald Trump’s inauguration claiming that both were “illegitimate” presidents falsely claiming Trump and Bush stole the 2000 and 2016 presidential elections.
Long before Donald Trump claimed voter fraud in the 2020 election Democrats falsely claimed every election won by Republicans was stolen.
And even after the corporate media spent an entire year saying anyone that questioned the results of an election was guilty of sedition, Joe Biden still stood in front of the American people and claimed an election the Democrats looked likely to lose was not a free and fair contest.
