According to the fake news media and Democrats, Donald Trump suffered a massive political setback with his return to holding campaign rallies.
The President’s enemies crowed about the empty seats as the evidence Trump’s support was weakening and his re-election prospects were doomed.
And now all hell broke loose when Fox News dropped one bombshell about Trump’s rally.
The Secret Service said 12,000 people passed through their security checkpoints at the rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This contradicted the fire marshal’s false claim that just over 6,000 fans attended the rally in a 19,000 seat arena.
So-called journalists spent all Saturday night on social media and fake news CNN and MSNBC crowing about the empty seats being proof positive of the President’s impending political doom.
But then Americans learned the rest of the story.
An astounding 7.7 million Americans tuned into Fox News to watch the rally, which ended up being Fox News Channel’s biggest Saturday night TV audience in history.
“A whopping 7.7 million total viewers tuned into Fox News from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT during Trump’s remarks, making it the most watched Saturday in the network’s history during that time period, according to early Nielsen data.” Fox News also reported that “Trump’s rally also gave Fox News its largest Saturday night primetime audience ever from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.”
The TV numbers for Trump’s rally nearly reached those of the NFL draft and outdrew fake news CNN’s most-watched Democrat Party debate.
“By comparison, ESPN’s coverage of the NFL Draft’s opening night averaged 8 million, MSNBC’s most-watched Democratic primary debate averaged 7.7 million and CNN’s most-watched Democratic primary debate averaged 7.4 million,” Fox News also reported.
Trump drawing a monster TV audience was all the most amazing considering Saturday night – especially in the summer – is considered the “death slot” in TV programming.
Trump 2020 Communications Director Tim Murtaugh boasted that in addition to the massive TV audience, the Trump rally attracted millions of viewers across the campaign’s digital streaming platforms.
“President Trump’s rally in Tulsa attracted over 4 million unique viewers across all of the campaign’s digital media channels. The live-streamed pre-rally shows drew an audience of more than 2.5 million unique viewers by themselves,” Murtaugh declared.
In comparison, Joe Biden struggles to draw 1,000 people to his campaign livestreams and Biden recently delivered a speech in Pennsylvania in front of about ten people and there were still empty chairs in the room.
The President’s base is still fired up to support Trump.
Now the question remains to see if the President can grow on that support and turn the election in his favor.
