A coronavirus vaccine will be available by the end of the year.
But the timing of this announcement raised suspicions among President Trump and his supporters.
And all hell broke loose when Tucker Carlson asked a question about a COVID-19 vaccine.
Forty-eight hours after the fake news media proclaimed Joe Biden the President-elect, Pfizer announced results from clinical trials showed its coronavirus vaccine was 90 percent effective.
This blockbuster news was the first sign the pandemic would soon end.
But Tucker Carlson wondered about the timing of the announcement.
Pfizer initially announced it would have enough data to ask for an emergency use authorization to begin distributing its vaccine.
But after that declaration, the Food and Drug Administration imposed unheard of regulatory hurdles to prevent Pfizer from requesting an emergency use authorization until after the election.
Tucker Carlson asked radio host and top Daily Caller editorial staffer Vince Coglianese if Pfizer and the FDA conspired to withhold the news about a vaccine until after the election so to avoid boosting Donald Trump’s re-election chances with a late October surprise by proving that the President’s Operation: Warp Speed delivered a safe and effective vaccine ahead of schedule.
“They put in a never before seen 60-day safety period to ensure the safety of the vaccine,” Coglianese declared. “They don’t do that in any other vaccine. This is the very first time it was done. It was announced just two months before the election. You do the math.”
Coglianese explained that big pharmaceutical companies had a bone to pick with Donald Trump after the President signed a series of executive orders over the summer designed to lower drug prices which pharmaceutical companies argued would eat into their profits.
Pfizer – Coglianese pointed out – donated more money to Joe Biden’s campaign than Donald Trump’s.
“There’s no question the pharmaceutical industry does have a political incentive to throw Donald Trump out of office … They’re really angry at him. They think that we’re going to lose a lot of money if he stays in office so there’s a lot of incentive there and the political acts I think have been pretty clear here. Pfizer, if you check their political donations as … very clearly donated more to Joe Biden than they did to Donald Trump,” Coglianese added.
Coglianese also described how Pfizer played dirty pool when the company first claimed it was not part of Operation: Warp Speed before later recanting after the administration and other reporters pointed out that the government paid Pfizer $1.95 billion dollars to purchase up to 600 million doses of the vaccine.
A purchase order of that large a quantity helped speed up development since Pfizer knew it had a guaranteed market.
“That’s right, you and I are paying a lot of money for Pfizer to develop this vaccine, so they lied about that because … [and] the effect of it was … not to give a win to Donald Trump. And the fact is, as you noted, they could have released data on this in October and instead — when did they release it? The first full business day after the media declared victory for Joe Biden,” Coglianese stated.
The combination of Deep State bureaucrats in the FDA and a drug company hostile to the President and which financially supported Joe Biden appeared to many Americans to have conspired to deny the President a game-changing win on the defining issue of the campaign in order to boost Joe Biden’s chances of victory.
