The corporate media and Big Tech censored the story during the 2020 election out of fear the story of the Biden family’s corruption and influence peddling in foreign countries like Communist China would sink Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
Big Tech, the Deep State, corporate media and the Biden campaign all colluded on a lie that the emails on the laptop showing alleged criminal activity were the product of Russian disinformation.
But now The New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN all reported that not only are the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop authentic, but that Hunter Biden faces an intensifying federal investigation into his financial dealings and chance of federal prosecutors indicting him.
Devine wrote a follow-up column explaining why the corporate media turned on Joe Biden and is now airing his dirty laundry.
Not only is the election over, but Joe Biden’s approval numbers continue to hit record lows.
A recent Grinnell College poll showed Biden’s job approval sinking to 34 percent.
That low approval rating combined with the fact that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware may very well return criminal charges against Hunter Biden led the media to realize Joe Biden was no longer of use to the left.

No doubt these august media organs that treated our story with sneering disregard for a year and a half have their reasons for jumping on board. For one thing, their original goal of removing President Donald Trump from office was achieved long ago, and Joe Biden is now so unpopular that his Praetorian Guard is melting away and reporting on his family is less hazardous to Beltway dinner party invitations.
For another thing, they can’t have their audiences blindsided when the US attorney in Delaware completes his investigation of Hunter. God forbid that their readers and viewers wake up to the fact they have been misled and kept in the dark by their media outlets of choice.
Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, low poll numbers and the fact that Biden will be 82 in 2024 lead most in Washington to assume Biden will not run for re-election in 2024.
Therefore, the media has no problem edging Biden off the stage so the Democrat Party can make a clean break in 2024 and pick a new candidate.
