Critics claim anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok was one of the ringleaders in the Deep State coup against Donald Trump.
Strzok played leading roles in the Hillary Clinton email and Russia investigations.
Now Strzok is threatening to take this unthinkable action that will make the Deep State’s cover up of its crimes against the President look even worse.
Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz unearthed the horrific levels of bias and corruption that infected the FBI under former Director James Comey.
Horowitz found that multiple high-level agents harbored a deep anti-Trump bias.
Chief among them was Peter Strzok – a high-ranking counterintelligence official at the Bureau.
Strzok played a key role in the Clinton email case and signed off on the Russia investigation.
Horowitz found multiple text messages sent by Strzok to Lisa Page – the FBI agent he was having an affair with – that crossed the line.
In one message, Strzok and Page described the Russia investigation as an “insurance policy” against Trump winning.
A second bombshell message found Strzok telling Page that they would “stop” Donald Trump.
These messages confirmed every fear Republicans had about the FBI under James Comey.
Comey allowed ideological anti-Trump partisans to use the FBI’s investigative powers to try and rig the Presidential election.
The Bureau went soft on Hillary Clinton’s clear and obvious crimes, while passing off fake news and gossip as legitimate intelligence in order to dive into Donald Trump’s campaign.
Strzok already testified behind closed doors to Congress, but Republicans – and the American people – believe he should testify in public to answer the charges of political bias.
To that end, the House Judiciary and Oversight Committee subpoenaed Strzok to testify at a joint hearing on July 10th.
But now Strzok is threatening the unthinkable.
In an interview on CNN, Strzok’s attorney Aitan Goelman declared Strzok could ignore the Congressional subpoena.
Goelman stated,
“My client will testify soon, somewhere, sometime. We just got this subpoena today, so I don’t know whether or not we are going to be testifying next Tuesday in front of these two particular House subcommittees.”
Strzok’s attorney explained that his client could skip the public hearing because he believes it is a “trap” set by Republicans.
“It is a chance for Republican members of the House to preen and posture before their most radical, conspiracy-minded constituents,” Goelman exclaimed.
“From our experience with the committee thus far, it is obvious that they don’t want the truth. They don’t want to hear what Pete has to say.”
What Strzok is really afraid of is answering for his actions.
Former FBI Director James Comey also skipped testifying before Congress after the Inspector General report was released, claiming he was traveling in Europe.
Comey and Strzok’s actions in the Clinton email and Russia investigations are indefensible.
For the first time in American history, the FBI actively worked to swing a Presidential election.
The Deep State is real and millions of Americans believe its agents should be held to account.
