Barack Obama is all in to defeat Donald Trump.
The former President wants revenge for Trump winning the 2016 election and erasing his disastrous legacy.
And Obama held one secret meeting about a big 2020 decision that changed everything for Donald Trump.
Texas Congressman Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke announced he is running for President.
But before he jumped into the Presidential contest, he made a pilgrimage to meet with former President Barack Obama to get his advice on mounting a challenge to Trump.
Vanity Fair exclusively reports in their closed door meeting:
“[I]n a private meeting with Barack Obama last November, the former president had asked Beto O’Rourke to consider if he had a clear path to the White House. Could he deliver Texas? Michigan? Pennsylvania? Wisconsin? ‘I don’t have a team counting delegates’ … ‘Almost no one thought there was a path in Texas, and I just knew it. I just felt it. I knew it was there, and I knew that with enough work and enough creativity and enough amazing people, if I’m able to meet them and bring them in, then we can do it. ‘That’s how I feel about this … It’s probably not the most professional thing you’ve ever heard about this, but I just feel it.'”
Many in the fake news media compare O’Rourke – who was a child of privilege that married into wealth and failed upwards in life – to Obama.
Some on President Trump’s team believe O’Rourke may be their toughest possible opponent in a general election.
“A Democrat who can carry Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or North Carolina is problematic,” a Republican strategist told reporter David Drucker. “Someone like Beto, who can campaign on the fly, raise money, and excite young voters, could put those and other states in play.”
But the promise of “Beto” is greater than the reality of “Beto.”
O’Rourke made a fool of himself on his first day on the campaign trail.
President Trump mocked O’Rourke’s wild hand gesticulations during a campaign kickoff event in Iowa.
“I’ve never seen so much hand movement,” Trump said after Beto O’Rourke’s presidential candidacy announcement.

In 2016, Trump proved that once he bestowed a mocking nickname on his opponent, that person became a national punch line and their campaign was over.
President Trump making fun of O’Rourke’s wild hand gestures is just the warm up.
And O’Rourke may have another problem.
In 2018, he became the media darling because he was running against Ted Cruz – whom liberals despise.
But in 2020, O’Rourke is battling against Bernie Sanders – who is the favorite of the millennial liberal fake news reporters – for the nomination.
These fake news reporters already have their daggers out for Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke.
Daily Beast editor-in-chief, Noah Shachtman, ripped O’Rourke for fundraising to pay for gas when his family is worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

This may seem small, but the Bernie supporters in the media are fanatics and they will pick and prod at O’Rourke if it looks like he threatens to deny their beloved Bernie Sanders the nomination.
Despite the fact that Obama appears to have blessed O’Rourke’s candidacy, he faces significant hurdles to winning the Democrat nomination – let alone the Presidency.
And if history is any indication, an endorsement by Obama may be the biggest kiss of death in American politics.
