Barack Obama is terrified that one wrong word could get him in trouble with the law.
The investigation into his administration’s crimes is too close for comfort.
Barack Obama sweated buckets when his old pal was brought in for questioning.
America was shocked when it was revealed during the Watergate hearings that Richard Nixon colluded with men who were spying on his political opponents.
The members of his own party wouldn’t stand behind him and he was forced to resign.
Under Obama, the FBI and other intelligence agencies misled other branches of the government in order to spy on Obama’s political opponents.
The mainstream media is not giving this scandal the proper amount of attention that it deserves.
This should be considered one of the worst political scandals in decades and yet they are desperate to try and whitewash the Obama administration’s crimes the best that they can.
Currently, John Durham has been tasked by Attorney General William Barr to investigate the origins of the investigations into the Trump campaign.
Durham is being so thorough in his questioning that he is scaring top Democrat leadership.
He interviewed former President Obama’s CIA chief John Brennan on Friday and lasted for eight hours, Brennan’s spokesperson Nick Shapiro said in a statement.
“Brennan was informed by Mr. Durham that he is not a subject or a target of a criminal investigation and that he is only a witness to events that are under review,” Shapiro said in a statement.
Durham’s investigation has already led to one criminal indictment and Kevin Clinesmith, a former FBI lawyer, pleaded guilty to altering an email to say that former Trump campaign aide Carter Page was “not a source” for the CIA when he had been a CIA source for many years.
“Brennan was not only involved in the 2017 intelligence community assessment that claimed Russia had interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump, but he was also present during key events, such as a January 2017 Oval Office meeting where then-President Obama, then-Vice President Joe Biden, and then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice discussed an FBI investigation into Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.” Breitbart News reported.
Brennan appeared voluntarily to be questioned and Shapiro said Brennan wonders why he’s now being questioned given the fact that the Mueller report and a bipartisan Senate report validated the conclusions of Russian interference. However, neither showed any evidence that Trump was colluding with the Russians.
“Brennan also told Mr. Durham that the repeated efforts of Donald Trump and William Barr to politicize Mr. Durham’s work have been appalling and have tarnished the independence and integrity of the Department of Justice, making it very difficult for Department of Justice professionals to carry out their responsibilities,” Shapiro added.
