Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his long-awaited report on the FBI’s conduct in the Russian collusion hoax.
As an Obama appointee, Horowitz did his level best to cover up the criminal wrongdoing by Barack Obama’s allies.
And Barack Obama thought he was off the hook until William Barr dropped this bombshell.
Inspector General Horowitz finally released his report on the FBI spying on the Trump campaign.
Although Horowitz listed 17 instances of wrongdoing by the FBI in terms of obtaining a FISA warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page, the Inspector General offered up ridiculous and unbelievable claims that there was no political bias in the FBI’s investigation.
“We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the decisions to open the four individual investigations,” Inspector General Horowitz’s report reads.
“We also concluded that, under the AG Guidelines and the DIOG, the FBI had an authorized purpose when it opened Crossfire Hurricane to obtain information about, or protect against, a national security threat or federal crime, even though the investigation also had the potential to impact constitutionally protected activity,” it continues.
Barack Obama’s Deep State allies and their handmaidens in the fake news media breathed a sigh of relief.
These assassins of truth claimed a report that the FBI lied, doctored evidence and concealed exculpatory evidence to spy on an American citizen somehow vindicated the FBI’s Russian collusion hoax.
“The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken,” Barr’s statement read.
“It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory,” Barr added.
This is not what Barack Obama, James Comey and the rest of their Deep State co-conspirators wanted to hear.
Obama and his allies were counting on Horowitz’s “nonpartisan” reputation to grant him the authority in the eyes of the American people to deliver the final say on the FBI’s spying during the 2016 campaign.
But that left Horowitz walking a tightrope.
Horowitz knew he had to whitewash the FBI and Obama administration’s corruption.
But Horowitz also knew the evidence of politically motivated spying was so clear and obvious that his report had to include some concessions on that front.
Horowitz faced an impossible task and he predictably failed.
Attorney General Barr made it clear that United States Attorney John Durham’s investigation would be the definitive report on the FBI’s scheme to undermine the campaign and Presidency by cooking up this Russian collusion nonsense.
That’s because unlike Michael Horowitz – who was limited in who he could speak to and did not have subpoena power – Durham has wide authority to pursue every lead and Durham also has the ability to impanel a grand jury to compel testimony.
Great American Daily will keep you up to date on any new developments in the investigation to hold Barack Obama and his allies accountable for staging a coup against Donald Trump.
