Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson served as White House physician from 2013 to 2018 for Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
After Joe Biden’s embarrassing performance on his trip to Europe where Biden often appeared confused, tired and forgetful, Jackson dispatched a letter to Biden, Biden’s physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor and chief medical advisor Dr. Fauci urging Biden to take a cognitive test.
Dr. Jackson argued this was a matter of national security and that Biden’s apparent cognitive decline presented a danger to the nation.
“The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their President. They deserve to know that he or she can perform the duties demanded of the office, and they deserve to have full transparency on the mental state of their highest elected leader. I would argue that the American people don’t have that confidence in President Biden,” Jackson stated.
Dr. Jackson added that the corporate media often falsely accused Donald Trump of suffering from early onset dementia, and that Dr. Jackson administered President Trump a cognitive test that President Trump proceeded to ace.
“When I was Physician to President Donald J. Trump, the liberal media relentlessly pushed a narrative that he needed a cognitive test and that it should be the standard for anyone serving as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State. I administered the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) test and President Trump excelled. Given the precedent set and Biden’s clear mental impairment, I believe it is past time he undergo a cognitive test,” Dr. Jackson added.
In multiple interviews Dr. Jackson cited Biden’s declining performance and memory lapses as evidence Biden needed to take a cognitive test and publicly reveal the results.
“Just everything that has been going on for the last year and a half … [Biden] doesn’t know what’s going on, where he’s at. He’s very confused all the time,” Jackson told The Hill.
In an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, Dr. Jackson ripped Biden’s bumbling performance as inviting challenges from America’s enemies like Communist China.
“He’s not physically or cognitively fit to be our president right now. And I just think that he’s not inspiring confidence in the American people. He’s not inspiring confidence in our allies overseas. And more importantly, it’s sending the wrong message to our adversaries overseas,” Dr. Jackson added.
Biden’s frightening performance in Europe was not the only evidence of Biden’s cognitive decline.
In recent months Biden blanked on the name of his Secretary of Defense and could not remember the name of the Pentagon referring to both as “that guy that runs that outfit over there.”
But Biden’s embarrassing antics in Europe represented the breaking point for a former White House physician that served presidents of both parties.
