Facebook and Twitter meddled in the 2020 election to help tilt the contest towards Joe Biden.
Social media giants are doubling down on that strategy in November.
And now Big Tech just unleashed this secret plan to rig the 2022 midterms for Democrats.
Facebook and Twitter censoring the New York Post’s reporting on the Biden family corruption and the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop may very well have won the election for Joe Biden.
Biden won the election with a narrow margin of 50,000 across three states.
A post-election poll conducted by the Media Research Center found that one in six Biden voters may not have supported Biden if they knew about the various scandals floating around Joe and Hunter Biden.
But the lesson Silicon Valley gleaned from the 2020 election was that if the social media gatekeepers controlled the flow of information to the public it could control the outcome of the election.
Conservatives found out the extent the left’s allies in the tech monopolies will go to censor information that could hurt Democrats in 2020.
The Vice President of Government Affairs & Public Policy for YouTube, Leslie Miller, published a memo explaining that in the final two months of the election YouTube would rig its algorithm to make sure users only saw political video content from liberal media outlets.
Miller wrote:
Our driving goal is for viewers to have access to high-quality election news and information. When you search for midterms content on YouTube, our systems are prominently recommending content coming from authoritative national and local news sources like PBS NewsHour, The Wall Street Journal, Univision and local ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates. This same approach goes for videos in your “watch next” panels. Working in tandem, our systems are also limiting the spread of harmful election misinformation by identifying borderline content and keeping it from being widely recommended.
Miller wrote that YouTube would censor content from channels that spread “misinformation” – i.e., anything that challenged the Democrat Party’s narrative – to make sure anyone searching YouTube for political content would only receive the content that promoted the Democrat Party’s candidates.
Miller wrote:
As our systems connect viewers to authoritative content and limit the spread of harmful misinformation, we’re also removing election content that violates our policies. This includes misleading voters on how to vote, encouraging interference in the democratic process, inciting violence, or advancing certain types of elections misinformation. We enforce our policies consistently for everyone, regardless of the speaker’s public figure status or their political viewpoint.
We’ve already removed a number of videos related to the midterms for violating our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. This includes videos that violated our election integrity policy by claiming widespread fraud, errors, or glitches occurred in the 2020 U.S. presidential election, or alleging the election was stolen or rigged. We’ve also issued strikes to channels that uploaded violative content related to the midterms, resulting in a temporary suspension from uploading new content.
YouTube is the world’s largest video sharing platform.
122 million people a day use the site.
And YouTube’s woke executives just pressed their thumbs down on the scale to bombard voters with videos from left-wing sources while censoring conservative content.
