Donald Trump claimed the 2020 presidential election was rigged against him.
Democrats and their corporate allies in the media allege Trump is lying.
But the left has a big problem now that Bill Clinton let the cat out of the bag on what really happened in the 2020 election.
Republicans blocked the Democrats from ramming the “Corrupt Politicians Act” through the Senate by using the filibuster.
This dangerous legislation would mandate mailing unsolicited ballots to every voter in all 50 states and allow ballot harvesting – the process of political operatives collecting ballots by the bagful in order to submit multiple ballots at once.
The bill also crippled the ability of states to enforce voter ID laws.
In an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” former President Bill Clinton whined that Republicans filibustered a bill the GOP argued would enshrine a permanent Democrat majority in Washington by injecting widespread fraud into American elections.
Clinton gave the game away when he said the bill would enshrine the voting practices in the 2020 election, in which Democrat judges and election officials took advantage of the coronavirus to dramatically expand mail-in voting through methods Republicans argued were unconstitutional.
“The filibuster was set up to ensure for a long debate, it was used in the civil rights era to try to kill civil rights bills and starting in about 1993 or 94, it started to be used all the time. And it was used on President Obama. It’s being used to try to prevent a repeat of 2020, when we had enormous voter participation. So all the states that are in the hands of people that don’t like that and want to maintain a racial income differential are trying to make it harder to vote. I understand the president’s reluctance to get rid of it all together and I sympathize with Joe Manchin, who is trying to stand up for the right thing and represent people who voted two-to-one for President Trump,” Clinton stated.
Democrats took advantage of expanded mail-in voting to juice turnout in the 2020 election.
Clinton added that the only voting rules the Democrats would accept is how elections were run in 2020.
Everything else – including how elections were from the first presidential election in 1788 all the way through 2019 – was racist and Jim Crow reincarnated.
“But I think when it comes to preserving democracy, you know I would suspend the filibuster because I think it’s essential. I don’t think that we should be in the business of going backwards in trying to drive down voting rights. I think we need to expand it. And I think that every time we’ve done it before it’s made us a better country, it’s made us a stronger country. And it would do both parties good to have to get out and compete for these new voters,” Clinton concluded.
