The confirmation process of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a dark time in American history.
It proves that Democrats are willing to do anything to take down Trump allies.
But now Kavanaugh is finally getting justice with one person going to prison.
Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh went through hell to get on the Supreme Court.
After decades of faithful services at some of the highest courts, he got the nomination for the Supreme Court by President Trump.
And following his nomination, Democrats claimed that if he is confirmed people will die, and that women will lose rights.
While those claims are entirely false, they are nothing compared to what came next.
Eventually, a woman, Christine Blasey-Ford, came forward claiming that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were in high school.
But there’s a big problem with her claims.
First off, there is no proof that the two even knew each other in high school.
And there’s no proof that the party where the assault occurred even took place.
Despite that, the left dug into every piece of Kavanaugh’s past, making him out to be a drunken sexual abuser simply because he drinks beer, and because a non-credible accusation of sexual assault exists.
In the end, he was confirmed.
But during the confirmation process, a lot happened.
One situation may be more troubling than any other.
A staffer for two Democrat members of Congress released private information of a number of Republican Senators in order to threaten them during the confirmation process.
Former aide to Sen. Maggie Hassan and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Jackson Cosko, released the information and engaged in other malicious activity.
He did it out of “self-righteous entitlement” and a “belief that he could violate the sanctity of the United States Senate at will and threaten individual Senators as he pleased,” according to prosecutors.
And to prove how serious the crimes are, prosecutors are asking that he get sentenced to five years in prison.
“The government believes that a significant sentence would help to make clear that difference of political opinion do not entitle people to engage in politically motivated, criminal attacks threatening elected officials with whom he disagrees, and would thereby encourage respect for the law, and deter future criminal conduct,” prosecutors wrote.
The Senators in question were put in serious danger due to the data breach.
They were in the midst of one of the most heated political fights in American history.
With the left threatening violence at an increasing rate, they then became potential targets.
And it wasn’t just their personal information, but their family’s information as well.
The actions from Cosko show just how radical the left is in the current era.
With Trump in the presidency, they believe they can do whatever they want to oppose him.
They truly believe that they don’t need to follow the law if it means getting back at the President.
Do you agree with the sentencing recommendation of five years?
