Someone passed along a draft opinion of a Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade to the press.
Now all hell is breaking loose.
And Brett Kavanaugh just got accused of this crime after a bombshell Supreme Court leak.
POLITICO reported that Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Clarence Thomas joined with Justice Samuel Alito to form a majority to overturn Roe v. Wade and end nationwide abortion on demand.
“A person familiar with the court’s deliberations said that four of the other Republican-appointed justices – Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett – had voted with Alito in the conference held among the justices after hearing oral arguments in December, and that line-up remains unchanged as of this week,” POLITICO reported.
Maine RINO and pro-abortion zealot Senator Susan Collins released a statement accusing Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch of essentially perjuring themselves in their confirmation hearings.
Collins falsely claimed the two testified they would uphold Roe v. Wade.
“If this leaked draft opinion is the final decision and this reporting is accurate, it would be completely inconsistent with what Justice Gorsuch and Justice Kavanaugh said in their hearings and in our meetings in my office,” Collins’ statement read.
When pressed by CNN Collins referred back to her statement which basically called Kavanaugh and Gorsuch – both of whom Collins voted to confirm – liars.
Asked if she was mislead by Kavanaugh, Collins told us: “My statement speaks for itself”

In the draft opinion, Alito called Roe an “egregiously wrong” precedent.
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division,” Alito wrote.
Kavanaugh never claimed precedent could not be overturned.
Nor did Kavanaugh call Roe correctly settled precedent.
In fact, when asked directly by California Senator Dianne Feinstein, Kavanaugh refused to say Roe was “correctly settled.”
No serious person believes precedent must stand forever.
Alito writing that Roe was “egregiously wrong” was his way of winning over conservatives like Kavanaugh who testified that a majority of justices not agreeing with a ruling was grounds for overturning precedent.
And if any decision was egregiously wrong it is Roe v. Wade.
Ever since the Supreme Court wrongly decided in 1973 to impose abortion on demand via judicial fiat over 60 million innocent unborn babies died in abortion mills.
Legalized abortion is one of the great moral stains on America.
And if this decision holds up, the Supreme Court will have taken a giant step towards righting that historical wrong.
