The lies against Donald Trump have become an international scandal.
Foreign officials are demanding that CNN apologize for their comments.
CNN launched an unforgivable false attack against President Trump.
The media have accused Donald Trump of being a dangerous madman from the moment he jumped in the presidential race.
President Trump helped build the strongest American economy ever, until the coronavirus hit, and kept America out of any new foreign conflicts.
Trump actually fulfilled his campaign promise to make America great again.
Yet the Democrats and mainstream media have done everything possible to attack him.
They have tried to convince the public that Trump is totally evil.
CNN this week compared Trump’s policies to those of Nazis purging the Jews in the 1930s.
“Commemorations of Kristallnacht took place earlier this week, remembering the 1938 two-day pogrom during which the Nazis burned more than 1,400 synagogues and Jewish institutions in Germany and Austria,” The Jerusalem Post reported. “While recalling the story of the infamous antisemitic slaughter, CNN Chief International Anchor and host of CNN International’s nightly interview program Christiane Amanpour, compared President Donald Trump’s presidency to that tragic event, explaining there has similarly been a ‘modern day assault’ attacking ‘those same values.’”
If Trump really was the evil oppressive dictator that CNN claims he is then the press wouldn’t even be able to freely criticize him.
The Right haven’t been burning down buildings this year, and trying to intimidate people who disagree into silence.
It downplays the tragic suffering of the Holocaust to compare Trump’s policies to Hitler’s.
Israeli officials are asking for an apology from CNN.
“Diaspora Affairs Minister Omer Yankelevich sent a letter to CNN president Jeffrey Zucker on Sunday urging that Amanpour issue an ‘immediate and public apology’ for the ‘unacceptable comparison’ she made,” The Times of Israel reported.
Yankelevich said in her letter that Kristallnacht, the event where Nazis burned synagogues, destroyed Jewish homes and killed almost a hundred people, is almost universally considered the start of the Holocaust.
“We find hereby the false equivalence made between the actions of a sitting US president and the atrocities of the Kristallnacht pogroms which were carried out by the Nazis eighty-two years ago belittling of the immense tragedy of the Holocaust,” Yankelevich wrote. “Distortion and minimization of the Holocaust are deplorable lies that only encourage the evil voices of anti-Semitism. Employing the memory of the Holocaust for cheap shock value and to further a political agenda is a deeply troubling and offensive spin of historic and moral truths with dangerous implications.”
It is dangerous for CNN to compare Trump’s policies to those of Hitler.
They are deepening divides in American culture by claiming that people who differ from them politically are the same as murderous dictators.
If CNN wants to criticize Trump, they should discuss how they dislike his policies, not make wild false accusations that are misleading the American people and border on Holocaust denial.
