CNN is the propaganda arm of the anti-Trump resistance.
The network has dedicated its programming to help force Trump from office.
But their latest plan instantly blew up in their faces.
CNN has settled on the Stormy Daniels story as the new front in their war on Trump and his supporters.
The network has played up the adult film star’s claims that she had an affair with Trump as a way to drive down his support.
Daniels had an interview with 60 Minutes on Sunday night that CNN had been breathlessly hyping for days.
It turned out to be a dud.
During the interview, Daniels claimed she had sex with Trump in 2006 and that the affair was consensual.
But despite her lawyer’s claims that she would provide evidence of the affair – which Trump has denied – Daniels produced no documentation during the interview.
Daniels also made an outrageous claim that someone in 2011 threatened her physical safety.
But Daniels never filed a police report, and Anderson Cooper never asked her if she knew who this person was or if they worked for Donald Trump.
Critics pointed out that this was not the smoking gun that Daniels’ attorney nor the anti-Trump media built it up to be.

CNN is desperate to help drive Trump from office.
But recycling gossip from when Trump was a private citizen to divide Trump from his supporters in hopes to give Democrats a boost in the midterm elections has failed spectacularly.
