Former FBI Director James Comey’s corrupt conduct in the Hillary Clinton email investigation is finally seeing the light of day.
Millions of Americans believe Comey conducted a sham investigation in order to clear Clinton so she could enter the White House free of scandal.
But now this bombshell document has Comey running for his life.
From the get-go, critics blasted the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server as a sham.
Witnesses were interviewed with their lawyers present.
Three Clinton aides – lawyers Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson, and State Department aide John Bentel – were given immunity for their testimony which eliminated the FBI’s leverage to press them for information.
James Comey began drafting his letter clearing Clinton in April 2016 despite the fact that the FBI had not even interviewed her yet.
And critics worst fears were revealed in a 100-page court filing from September 2015 to obtain a search warrant for Clinton aide Jacob Sullivan’s personal Gmail account.
The FBI never did use grand jury subpoenas to compel testimony from Clinton aides.
This is in sharp contrast to the Mueller probe where the special counsel has made a spectacle of parading Trump campaign associates to the grand jury in order to obtain their testimony.
Mueller has also granted immunity to zero Trump aides.
There is a clear difference in how the investigations into the Clinton email server and alleged Russian election meddling are being conducted.
Clinton was treated with kid gloves, while Trump associates were given the third degree.
In Comey’s book, he revealed that he went public with the FBI’s reopening of the Clinton investigation after emails were found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop in late October because he didn’t want to delegitimize what he thought was Clinton’s impending victory by having this information leak after the fact.
What other decisions in this case were made with Clinton’s political future in mind?
The Inspector General report revealed that the FBI knew about Weiner’s emails in September but sat on them.
Were pro-Clinton FBI officials like Peter Strzok and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe trying to run out the clock on the investigation by delaying obtaining a search warrant until after the election?
The Inspector General report into the FBI’s conduct during the Clinton investigation answered some questions.
Namely, it put to bed the idea that Donald Trump obstructed justice by firing Comey.
Inspector General Horowitz put together a bulletproof report demonstrating the fact that the FBI went off the rails under Comey’s leadership and that President Trump was one hundred percent justified in firing Comey.
But every new revelation also raises more questions about political bias infecting the investigation.
These new court filings that show the FBI never used a grand jury to obtain witness testimony present even more evidence that this investigation was not on the level.
Do you think James Comey let his pro-Clinton bias effect the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server?
