Despite what the so-called “mainstream” media claims, the Deep State is very real.
The conspiracy to bring down the President continues to play out in real time.
And it just took a sick turn for the worse.
Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio is a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus.
And as a member of the House Oversight Committee, Jordan has played a starring role in rooting out the political bias and rogue agents in the FBI and Department of Justice who are covering up the massive scandal surrounding the Obama administration and the FBI spying on Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign.
Now the Deep State is taking its revenge.
Just days after Jordan grilled Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein over his conduct in overseeing the Russia investigations, allegations from three former Ohio State wrestlers surfaced that Jordan had ignored allegations of abuse against the team trainer while he was an assistant coach in 1993 and 1994.
One of the wrestlers – Mike DiSabato – appeared on CNN and alleged Jordan was told about the abuse.
While he offered no evidence – and his answers appeared shifty – the media ran wild with the stories because it was an opportunity to take out a key Trump ally in Congress.
DiSabato told CNN:
“It was something that we would discuss on a regular basis, mainly with nervous banter, locker room banter … We had multiple conversations, I’m not the only person who had conversations with — again, it was something that we’d be in the locker room, there’s 40 guys in our locker room and doc was in the locker room. He had his own locker. It was impossible for anyone during that time to not know that this guy was at best a groper. I don’t think the word abuse was used by athletes at the time, sexual abuse.”
Jordan has strongly denied all allegations.
The Ohio congressman told Politico:
“It’s not true,” Jordan said. “I never knew about any type of abuse. If I did, I would have done something about it. And look, if there are people who are abused, then that’s terrible and we want justice to happen.”
There is one other aspect of this case that is raising eyebrows.
The law firm of Perkins Coie is overseeing the investigations into allegations of abuse by trainer Dr. Richard Strauss.
Perkins Coie is the same law firm the Hillary Clinton campaign used as a cutout to hire Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele to put together the fake news Russia dossier.
Critics question the timing of the story.
There are few coincidences in Washington, so this story breaking days after Jordan’s national profile grew with his grilling of Rosenstein raised eyebrows.
The release looks like a calculated hit job to destroy a powerful Trump supporter who has a platform to root out the rogue actors within the government who are working to bring down the President.
