The left has gone out of their way to derail the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh.
They are working overtime to stop it altogether.
And Dianne Feinstein just revealed a new plan to delay him further.
An FBI Investigation Into Kavanaugh
The FBI is investigating allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Just before his confirmation, allegations of sexual misconduct dropped.
While first anonymous, the name of his accuser was soon revealed to be Christine Blasey Ford.
And Ford isn’t alone in her accusations.
Two other women have also dropped claims.
While none of them have any proof backing their accusations, the media is having a field day.
But in reality, the claims look to be nothing more than a politically motivated attack.
President Trump has called it a “con job.”
And one of the accusers has been discredited to the point she may face criminal charges.
But that doesn’t mean Democrats aren’t going to push forward.
This is their only possible way of blocking his confirmation.
Dianne Feinstein’s Plan
Sen. Dianne Feinstein is the reason the allegations are public.
The letter leaked to the media went through her office first.
Many people, including President Trump, believe it was Feinstein who leaked it.
There are two theories as to why.
Ford may have been apprehensive about coming forward.
So a leak to the media would give the motivation needed for her to come forward.
Because after all, it leaked just as Kavanaugh’s confirmation became imminent.
It could have also been the plan from the beginning.
To make Ford’s 11th hour claim seem more believable, it may have been decided on day one that it would leak to the media first.
It also gave the accusations a few extra days in the media cycle.
Since the allegation dropped, Democrats have been demanding an FBI investigation.
Feinstein was the leading voice in asking for one.
And she got her wish.
The FBI has conducted an investigation in which Senators will review.
Feinstein: Further Delay Kavanaugh
Sen. Feinstein doesn’t believe the FBI has had enough time to investigate.
She is asking for the vote on his confirmation to be delayed again.
She is requesting it to be moved to next week in the hopes of finding more evidence to take down Kavanaugh, or at the very least, find some way to delay him further.
Democrats want to delay his confirmation until after the midterm elections.
If they can take back the Senate, they will have the votes to stop Kavanaugh altogether.
And from there, they can demand a left-wing justice or vote against anybody Trump tries to nominate until they can take the White House in 2020.
If they take back either of the Houses in Congress, their goal will be to keep Trump from being able to do anything.
