Democrats just can’t stay out of trouble.
After losing the 2016 election, they lost the immunity that a Democrat president provided.
And a Democrat representative just did something so crazy that she was thrown behind bars.
The left has delved into complete and utter insanity.
Since the first day of President Trump’s presidency, they have gone completely off the reservation.
They were so sure that Hillary Clinton was going to win that him being president wasn’t even a thought in their minds.
So the night it became clear that Trump was going to be president, they slashed their entire plan for the next four years and replaced it with one goal, to take down Trump.
Using every dirty tactic in the book they have tried and failed so far.
So their latest tactic is simply to lie about President Trump and his supporters.
Their latest lie had to do with separating families at the border.
They ignore the fact that former President Obama did the same thing, and instead paint Trump as a family-separating monster.
At protests nationwide, the anti-Trump left has been screaming about how evil the policy is, even after President Trump rescinded the policy.
Even Democrat politicians have been seen protesting at these events.
So it wasn’t surprising to see infamous anti-Trump Democrat Representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington at a recent protest.
The protest was occurring in Washington, D.C., and featured hundreds of people calling for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
While at the protest, the Democrat Representative was arrested for refusing to leave the area after police asked them to disperse.
After being arrested, Jaypapal, or more likely a staffer, tweeted about being arrested stating that she was arrested protesting President Trump’s “cruel zero-tolerance policy” on immigration.
While she was the highest-profile person to be arrested, there were many others who were arrested in an act of “civil disobedience.”
While the protest was stated simply as a counter to Trump’s immigration policy, it was clearly about open borders.
President Trump already removed the policy they were supposedly there to protest against, but despite that, they were still there.
The fact that many protesters were calling for the abolition of ICE shows that they simply want an end to immigration enforcement.
These are the same people advocating for sanctuary cities, which illegal immigrants are allowed to roam freely in without risk of being deported.
Put two and two together and it becomes clear that they simply want open borders.
In the past, this wasn’t a position of Democrats.
High-profile Democrats like former President Barack Obama and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton used to call for strict border control.
Hillary Clinton even supported creating a stronger barrier on the border at one point.
But those days of the Democrat Party are over.
After being taken over by people even more radical than Hillary Clinton they have become the party of open borders.
Some Democrats are even willing to go to jail to push for that policy.
But even with their hysterical screaming, President Trump isn’t backing down from his policy of securing the border.
