For two years Devin Nunes led the fight to expose the Obama administration’s crimes in trying to frame Donald Trump for colluding with the Russians.
When Democrats seized control of the majority in the House of Representatives, Obama and his Deep State allies breathed a sigh of relief.
But Devin Nunes just filed one lawsuit that could bring down Barack Obama’s Deep State for good.
A Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Nunes led investigations that ripped the cover off the Deep State scheme to use the Russian collusion hoax to try and overthrow Donald Trump.
Under Nunes’ leadership, the House Intelligence Committee exposed the fact that Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid for the fake news Christopher Steele dossier.
The committee also revealed that the FBI – in violation of standard Bureau procedure – used the unverified Steele dossier as the central piece of evidence in their application for a FISA warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
But when Democrats won majority in the House of Representatives in the 2018 election, Obama and his allies figured their troubles were fading into their rearview mirror.
That was not to be the case.
Even though Nunes no longer runs the investigations on the House Intelligence Committee, the California Republican is still using the legal system to expose Obama and his allies’ crimes.
Nunes recently filed a lawsuit against Fusion GPS – the firm that hired foreign spy Christopher Steele to put together the fake news Russia dossier – and the Campaign for Accountability.
In the lawsuit, Nunes alleges that the two colluded to ‘harass’ and ‘intimidate’ him during his investigation by filing a series of frivolous ethics complaints.
Nunes claims that after Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson got word that Nunes caught him allegedly perjuring himself during his Congressional testimony, Simpson launched a scorched earth campaign to smear Nunes.
“Fearing a criminal referral for his false statements to the FBI and DOJ, for lying to Congress and the Senate, and for obstructing the House Intelligence Committee in its Russia investigation, the Defendants directly and aggressively retaliated against Plaintiff, employing the same or similar means and methods as Fusion GPS and Simpson have employed multiple times in the past to smear the opposition,” Nunes’ lawsuit alleges.
As evidence, Nunes cites a series of payments from the Campaign for Accountability to Fusion GPS that lined up with the ethics complaints.
And some of these complaints paid dividends.
Nunes stepped back from running the official House Intelligence Committee investigation – although he did not resign as chairman of the Committee as many on the left demanded.
Fusion GPS is the key to the Russian collusion hoax.
Simpson hired the spy that put together the dossier and then passed the information to the Obama administration and the FBI.
With Republicans no longer running the House of Representatives, the disclosure phase of Nunes’ lawsuit could be the best chance to gather evidence of how Fusion GPS and the Democrats went about perpetrating the Russian collusion fraud against the American people.
