Devin Nunes and Donald Trump’s battle against the Deep State is coming to a head.
After weeks of cover up, Trump ordered the Department of Justice to stop stonewalling Congress.
And now Devin Nunes is about to get his hands on the smoking gun that could tear the Deep State apart.
Trump rocked Washington when he tweeted that he would exercise his Constitutional power as head of the executive branch and order the Justice Department to investigate allegations that the FBI attempted to plant a spy inside the Trump campaign.
I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes – and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!

This led to a meeting at the White House between Trump and FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
The outcome of the meeting is that the DOJ and the FBI will give the classified documents about the Russia probe to Nunes and other Congressional leaders.
The Washington Examiner reports:
“President Trump left a Monday meeting with FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein with an agreement on future steps to facilitate the release of Russia-probe documents to Congress.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said the men “agreed that White House Chief of Staff Kelly will immediately set up a meeting with the FBI, DOJ, and DNI together with Congressional Leaders to review highly classified and other information they have requested.”
House Intelligence Committee Republicans led by chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., have sought unsuccessfully to see certain documents on the FBI’s probe of possible Trump campaign collusion with Russia, including on its use of an informant.”
The last time Nunes attended a closed door meeting with Justice Department and FBI officials, rogue actors in both agencies immediately began leaking about the meeting.
These bad faith actors lied to the press, saying that Trump sided against Nunes on matters of keeping documents and information secret.
But Nunes is about to get the last laugh.
For months he has been pressing for information as to how this nonsensical Russia collusion investigation started and exactly what activities the FBI and other agencies engaged in –including developing a spy ring to infiltrate the Trump campaign – and what were the sources of their information.
Officials at the DOJ and FBI have orchestrated a cover up because the answers will likely prove embarrassing.
The FBI sicced a spy on the Trump campaign.
This spy – as well as the Hillary Clinton funded Christopher Steele dossier – were the FBI’s unreliable sources of information that led to the opening of the investigation.
Devin Nunes and other Congressional leaders will finally get the full picture of a scandal that is much worse than Watergate.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this story.
