President Trump has had a great two years.
He’s achieved a lot despite intense opposition.
And now, one of his biggest critics just accidentally handed him a massive win.
Dianne Feinstein Spills The Beans
Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation has faced massive opposition.
The latest attack is sexual assault allegations from a woman who claims he attempted to rape her when they were in high school.
Dianne Feinstein is one of the first people she talked to.
It was that discussion that got leaked to the press.
That is likely by design to lend credibility.
And since then, Feinstein has been one of the biggest pushers of her claims.
But in recent days she said something to discredit all her work.
A Fox News reporter says she is casting doubt on the claims.
She reportedly said, “I can’t say that everything is truthful, I don’t know,” about the claims.
This is lending credence to those skeptical of the allegations against Kavanaugh.
They occurred decades ago, and only recently came to light.
And the woman presenting the allegations has a long history of supporting Democrats.
Along with that, dozens of women who went to school with Kavanaugh have spoken to his character.
The Accuser Wants It To Be True
One of the many avenues of doubt comes from the timing.
If she wanted to, the accuser could have brought up the allegations at any time.
Kavanaugh has been highly influential for many years.
At any point during his climb up the ladder, she could have brought it up.
But instead, it is coming at a time when he is facing a contentious confirmation hearing.
And it is a process he was a shoo-in for until her allegations came to light.
That one fact should raise red flags for anybody paying attention.
But along with that, the woman may even believe she’s telling the truth.
With it being so long ago, she could be misremembering facts.
It could have been somebody else attempting to assault her altogether.
Or it could have been something much less serious.
The main takeaway is that it isn’t as cut and dry as Democrats are trying to make it.
There are a lot of variables to consider.
And the best way to get to the bottom of it is questioning the accuser.
Accuser Offered Public Or Private Hearing
The accuser has a chance to state her case before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
She has a chance to do it either privately or publicly.
But so far she has declined, citing death threats.
Even if she is receiving heavy threats, she is being offered protection.
Many believe the accusations shouldn’t be in consideration if she doesn’t testify.
Right now it’s just words with no backing.
And that’s a problem if taken seriously.
Being able to change the outlook of the Supreme Court with unverified accusations creates a dangerous precedence.
