Obama bellowed “When somebody says, like the person you just mentioned who I’m not going to advertise for, that he’s going to bring all these jobs back, well how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do?”
“There’s — there’s no answer to it,” then President Obama continued.
Finally, Obama honed in for the punchline.
“He just says, ‘Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, how — what — how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually, the answer is he doesn’t have an answer,” Obama roared to mock Trump.
But Donald Trump did have an answer.
Anti-Trump journalists in the fake news media had begun to promote the idea that Trump had set the nation on the road to economic ruin through initiating a trade war with the European Union and China when Trump acted to put America First by imposing steel and aluminum tariffs.
Members of the get-Trump media could not wrap their heads around the fact that Trump had always said he was using tariffs as a negotiating ploy to strike true free trade deals that benefited American workers and industry.
Trump’s made Obama and the fake news media look ridiculous when the President held a Rose Garden event to announce that he and European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker agreed to a deal to negotiate a true trade deal with no tariffs, barriers or subsidies on either side.
In addition, the European Union would begin to purchase more liquefied natural gas and soybeans from America.
“Soybeans is a big deal. And the European Union is going to start – almost immediately – to buy a lot of soybeans. They are a tremendous market. Buy a lot of soybeans from our farmers in the Midwest primarily. So I thank you for that, Jean Claude,” President Trump graciously declared.
Trump continued reeling off the benefits of the deal he just announced stating “This will open markets for farmers and workers, increase investment and lead to greater prosperity in both the United States and the European Union. It will also make trade fairer and more reciprocal.”
The natural gas purchase completely undercuts the fake news media conspiracy theory that Trump was acting as a Russian agent.
Russia does tremendous business selling natural gas to European countries like Germany.
If Europe begins to buy from America, it will cripple a key sector of the Russian economy.
In one fell swoop, Trump made Obama and the fake news media look like fools for mocking his negotiating skills and promoting a conspiracy theory about Russia holding compromising information about the President.
Jobs and industry fled the United States because past Presidents – like Barack Obama – put the interests of the globalist agenda ahead of the American worker.
President Trump realizes that as the world’s largest economy, America holds all the cards.
Other nations cannot go extended periods of time without doing business with the United States.
Trade wars are painful, but America’s competitors cannot withstand the pain for long.
Trump’s announcement was what Obama feared the most.
Had Obama cared about the American worker or the nation’s industries, he could have cut a similar deal.
But as Trump showed, Obama’s loyalties were not with the nation’s workers.
