As the 2020 Presidential Election heads into the end game, President Trump is taking every opportunity to make his case to the voters.
But no one saw this coming.
And Donald Trump confessed something to Fox News that took viewers by surprise.
During an interview with Laura Ingraham, Donald Trump addressed the riots led by Joe Biden voters in Democrat-run cities.
Ingraham asked President Trump about his supporters showing up to counter-protest and this leading to even more violence by Joe Biden supporters.
In Portland over the weekend, a self-described member of Antifa allegedly murdered a Trump supporter execution style on the street.
Trump told Ingraham that he did not want his supporters out on the streets and that law enforcement should handle any issues with violent Antifa and Black Lives Matter terrorists.
“No. No, I don’t want them. I want to leave it to law enforcement. But my supporters are wonderful, hard-working, tremendous people. And they turn on their television set, and they look at a Portland, or they look at a Kenosha, before I got involved and stopped it, or they look at Chicago, where 78 people were shot last weekend and numerous people died, or they look at New York, where violence is up by like, what? 150%. … They’re looking at all of this, and they can’t believe it,” President Trump told Ingraham.
President Trump told his supporters to stay away from Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots despite the fact that Trump supporters were only there to peacefully protest.
“It’s a peaceful protest. I mean, they were protesting. They weren’t — you know, it’s amazing, they want to protest, and they get criticized,” President Trump added.
Despite President Trump appearing on televisions and appealing for calm by asking his supporters to stay away, the fake news blatantly lied about how the President has dealt with the riots.
Fake news “reporters” and Democratic Party cheerleaders Maggie Haberman and Peter Baker published a “news analysis” piece in the failing New York Times.
Despite the fact that President Trump, in an early evening press conference and on Laura Ingraham’s show, asked his supporters to keep away from violent riots, Haberman and Baker falsely claimed President Trump stoked violence.
“President Trump has been throwing accelerant on the fire of the nation’s social unrest rather than trying to put it out, seeking confrontation rather than calm at a volatile moment his advisers hope will help salvage his campaign for a second term,” Haberman and Baker wrote.
Donald Trump’s supporters remain loyal to him because he does not play the “renounce and denounce” game every time the fake news media demands it.
But that doesn’t mean he is calling for violence.
And even in cases where he is clearly appealing for calm, the fake news media still lies about him.
