Iran tried to escalate its 40 year-long war against the United States.
And Donald Trump hit Iran back harder than any American President in history.
But now Donald Trump faced this reality on Iran that left him red with rage.
It all started with President Trump’s attack that killed Qasem Soleimani.
Soleimani was the Iranian General who ran the state’s terrorist operations.
Dinesh D’Souza describes Soleimani as a “monster.” He said that the nation should come together in condemning Iran and leave politics “at the water’s edge.”
But the liberal mainstream media could not help themselves.
The media’s hatred for Trump has them rushing to defend Iran and Soleimani in a mad attempt to make Trump look like the villain.
The New York Times tweeted a quote from that student praising Soleimani as a guardian of the country.
TIME also jumped in to defend Soleimani. But the liberal magazine went even further.
TIME asked parents to use their hand-built guide for telling their kids what to think about Soleimani and Trump’s actions.
Fox News hosts reacted in disgust that a liberal magazine would assume parents would assume the role of teacher in children’s lives.
D’Souza said this conduct was ridiculous, and that the media is just being hostile to Trump.
“If Obama had taken him out, there would be hosannas of celebration, Obama is a genius. But since its Trump they want to mobilize the Soleimani assassination against Trump.”
And despite the backwards logic, this is exactly what the media is attempting.
D’Souza said this shows the media is willing to get in bed with an enemy just to attack Trump.
Others had more severe words for the media. “Marinating in hatred of Trump subsumes everything else,” said Fox News host Lara Logan.
The Iranian government uses terrorism as a form of state craft. That’s why they’re designated as a foreign terrorist organization.
The instant rush to Iran and Soleimani’s defense is more evidence that the media is not concerned with objective reporting.
It seems their only concern is to land blows against Trump at any cost.
The media’s hope is to turn the people against Trump as the 2020 presidential election draws near.
But thus far the American public is seeing through the ploy.
Support for President Trump remains high. So far, the President has again maneuvered the media into a corner.
And it goes to show just how out of touch the media is.
