Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
Former FBI Director James Comey lashed out at the move.
But Donald Trump drove the final nail in Comey’s coffin with one tweet.
Sessions fired McCabe after the career staff at the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility determined he did not tell the truth to investigators about press leaks he engineered during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
President Trump celebrated the move on twitter and pointed out that Comey was in on the lies and leaks.
Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI – A great day for Democracy. Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI!

Comey lashed out at the President by promoting his upcoming book and smearing Trump as a liar.
Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon. And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not.

But Trump got the last laugh.
When Comey testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, he stated under oath that he never leaked anonymously and that he didn’t know of any leaks.
That was false.
And it was none other than Andrew McCabe who outed him as a liar.
McCabe released a statement following his termination where he defended his leaks to the press on the grounds that it was authorized by Comey.
Trump tweeted that Comey lied Congress.
Wow, watch Comey lie under oath to Senator G when asked “have you ever been an anonymous source…or known someone else to be an anonymous source…?” He said strongly “never, no.” He lied as shown clearly on @foxandfriends.

Should James Comey be prosecuted for lying to Congress?
