The rogue Iranian government vowed revenge after Donald Trump ordered a drone strike that eliminated Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
Soleimani was one of the most dangerous men in the world as Soleimani served as a combination of Vice President and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Iran.
By many accounts Soleimani was the second most powerful man in Iran.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed a bloody revenge.
“His efforts & path won’t be stopped by his martyrdom, by God’s Power, rather a #SevereRevenge awaits the criminals who have stained their hands with his & the other martyrs’ blood last night. Martyr Soleimani is an Intl figure of Resistance & all such people will seek revenge,” Khamenei roared on social media.
The fake news media – which desperately wants to see Donald Trump fail – picked up Khamenei’s bellowing threats to claim President Trump stirred up a hornet’s nest and was woefully unprepared for the Iranian reaction to Soleimani’s death.
President Trump took that lie head on.
In a series of tweets, the President made it clear that if Iran responded by attacking Americans, American military personnel or installations, Iran would face the full might of the United States armed forces.
“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters. He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years. Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!” the President wrote on Twitter.
Iran clearly underestimated President Trump.
Soleimani and his network of terrorist proxy groups still believed that Barack Obama and his policies of weakness and appeasement ruled the day in America.
Donald Trump quickly disabused them of that notion.
The President made it clear he does not want war with Iran nor is the United States pursuing regime change.
But at the same time, President Trump will not allow Iran and their terrorist proxies free reign to destabilize the Middle East by attacking American interests.
