Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr ended their working relationship on a sour note.
Now Trump has another reason to be angry with Barr.
And Donald Trump learned some shocking news about what William Barr told Democrats.
Former Attorney General Barr cooperated with the Democrats’ January 6 Select Committee,Chairman Bennie Thompson revealed.
Thompson told “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan that Barr spoke to the committee about a draft December 14 executive order directing the U.S. military to seize voting machines that some Trump supporters claimed altered votes.
There was no evidence this happened and Trump never followed through on the executive order which never made it past the draft phase.
“To be honest with you, we’ve had conversations with the former attorney general already,” Thompson stated. “We have talked to Department of Defense individuals. We are concerned that our military was part of this Big Lie on promoting that the election was false. So, if you are using the military to potentially seize voting machines, even though it’s a discussion, the public needs to know. We’ve never had that before.”
Thompson indicated that the committee’s investigation into this draft executive order could form the basis for criminal charges that Democrats hope will stop Donald Trump from running for president in 2024.
“We will move forward on that investigation, and we will look and see specifically how far that plan went,” Thompson stated.
Thompson made it clear that the committee intended to criminalize anyone that believed the 2020 election was stolen.
“Our job is to get to the facts and circumstances of how far did they go,” Thompson continued. “We do know that a potential person was identified to become the Attorney General of the United States who would communicate with certain states” that the election had been “fraudulent” in their states and they should not produce “certified documents.”
Democrats have a long history of claiming hackers gained access to voting machines and changed votes.
In 2004 liberals falsely claimed Diebold voting machines changed votes to George W. Bush in the pivotal state of Ohio and rigged the election for Bush against John Kerry.
Keith Olbermann – when he was the biggest star on MSNBC’s primetime lineup – made this baseless conspiracy theory a centerpiece of his programming.
On the eve of the 2006 midterm elections – where Democrats won control of both the House and the Senate – Olbermann invited a professor who claimed it was simple to hack into Diebold voting machines onto his show.
“Less than a minute, that‘s how long it takes to hack into the Diebold voting machines that are waiting to record your choice on Tuesday. Oh, here we go. We will talk to a computer professor who did just that,” Olbermann told viewers on November 3, 2006.
The January 6 Select Committee is a stacked deck whose sole purpose is to invent the pretext for the Biden administration to criminally prosecute Donald Trump.
And Donald Trump will surely not be happy that former Attorney General Barr aided in this effort.
