Joe Biden’s time in office has seen America suffer one national humiliation after another.
Each scandal is a new rock bottom.
And now Donald Trump obliterated Joe Biden over this secret deal that betrayed America.
Joe Biden handed Russian President Vladimir Putin a massive victory by swapping notorious arms dealer Viktor Bout – known as the “Merchant of Death” – for WNBA player Brittney Griner.
Russian authorities arrested Griner for drug possession as Griner tried to evacuate Russia – where she played basketball in the offseason – in the early days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Trump and others on the right were furious that Biden let loose one of the most dangerous men in the world for a basketball player who kneeled for the national anthem while abandoning U.S. Marine Paul Whelan in Russia despite the fact that Russia convicted and imprisoned Whelan on phony espionage charges.
“What kind of a deal is it to swap Brittney Griner, a basketball player who openly hates our Country, for the man known as ‘The Merchant of Death,’ who is one of the biggest arms dealers anywhere in the World, and responsible for tens of thousands of deaths and horrific injuries. Why wasn’t former Marine Paul Whelan included in this totally one-sided transaction? He would have been let out for the asking. What a ‘stupid’ and unpatriotic embarrassment for the USA!!!” Trump posted on Truth Social.
The U.S. scored a huge victory in arresting Bout back in 2010 and sentencing Bout to 25 years in prison back in 2012.
Drug Enforcement Agency undercover agents set up a sting and caught Bout trying to sell missiles to Colombian terrorists.

Bout was extradited from Thailand to the US in 2010, after a sting operation by the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) two years earlier.
Agents from the DEA posed as potential buyers from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, known as Farc. That group – which has since disbanded – was classified as a terrorist organisation by the United States.
Bout hoped the Colombian terrorists would use the weapons to kill U.S. officials.

He was sentenced to 25 years in prison in April 2012 after being found guilty of conspiracy to kill Americans and US officials, delivering anti-aircraft missiles and aiding a terrorist organisation.
His three-week trial heard that Bout had been told the weapons would be used to kill US pilots working with Colombian officials. Prosecutors said he replied: “We have the same enemy.”
Biden let the world’s biggest arms dealer free as Russia is seeking to rearm itself to continue the war in Ukraine.
This trade attracted scorn as many on the right believed Biden freed Griner due to identity politics pressure placed on Biden by the woke mob.
And this controversy is not likely to die down any time soon as the new Republican majority is likely to investigate this prisoner swap.
