Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to ramp up his military offensive against Ukraine.
Putin’s war is the highest-level brinkmanship since the Cuban Missile Crisis.
And Donald Trump said four words about nuclear war that put jaws on the ground.
Prior to the war, Putin threatened any country that intervened with devastating consequences the likes of which no one had ever seen.
Days into the conflict Putin ordered his nuclear forces – the largest in the world – into special combat alert.
For the first time in decades the prospect of global thermonuclear war hung over human civilization.
When Donald Trump ran for office in 2016 Trump warned that the nuclear threat was the greatest danger we faced as a society.
The so-called “experts” mocked Trump with many on the left and the corporate media claiming so-called “global warming” presented the existential crisis of our time.
Trump was proven right once again with Putin’s continually escalating war on Ukraine.
In an appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Trump explained just how dire he saw the threat posed by Russia.
“What is your take on that? Is this just a scared U.S. citizen right now that’s watching this unfold?” host Kyle Forgeard asked Trump about the conflict in Ukraine.
Trump said the public should be worried because Joe Biden is senile and the incompetent advisors that oversaw the debacle in Afghanistan are still around him making the real decisions.
“Well, you should be scared because we have incompetent people heading up our country, who frankly got there through a fraudulent election,” Trump responded.
But then the hosts got down to brass tacks and wanted to know about the prospect of Putin unleashing his nuclear weapons.
“How serious is the threat of nuclear warfare?” Forgeard asked.
Trump responded with a simple answer.
“I think it’s serious,” Trump said.
Joe Biden’s bungling and Putin’s aggression make nuclear war a terrifying prospect.
But Trump ripped Biden for the way he handled the conflict essentially giving Putin the upper hand.
“But I hate hearing Biden say ‘no, we don’t want anything to do with Russia, they’re a nuclear power.’ But so are we. And we’re a bigger nuclear power,” Trump told the hosts.
Trump added that under his administration America sought to modernize its nuclear arsenal and that thousands of nuclear weapons America possessed were meant as a deterrent to prevent other countries from ever using one.
“We have brand new, because of me, nuclear weapons that we didn’t have. And we have renovated weapons that were very old and now they’re renovated.” Trump added. “And we never want to use them. And by the way, you know how you’re not going to use them? By having them. If you didn’t have them, we would have big problems.”
