Chinese government officials never thought it would get to this.
The coronavirus originated in China and Americans are demanding accountability.
And now Donald Trump said nine words that are bad news for China.
The fake news media hammered President Trump over Trump’s declaration that he had seen evidence proving the coronavirus outbreak originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology after a terrible accident in the containment facilities and security protocols.
So-called “journalists” betrayed their country and sided with the Chinese government in labeling these claims “conspiracy theories.”
But in a town hall event on Fox News, President Trump doubled down on the idea that the virus escaped from a lab and did not jump from bats to humans in a Wuhan wet market like the Chinese government claimed.
“I don’t think there is any question about it,” President Trump told co-hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
President Trump went even further, promising the American people proof in the form of an official accounting of the events.
The President revealed that the intelligence community “will be giving a very strong report on what we think happened, and I think it will be very conclusive.”
Administration officials beyond President Trump conveyed the message that the virus leaked out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo emphatically stated that there was clear and convincing evidence that the coronavirus escaped the lab as part of an accident.
“We have said from the beginning, this virus originated in Wuhan, China. We took a lot of grief for that from the outset. But I think the whole world can see now,” Pompeo began. “Remember, China has a history of infecting the world and they have a history of running sub-standard laboratories.”
“These aren’t the first times that we have had the world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab,” the Secretary of State continued.
Host Martha Raddatz pressed Pompeo on a statement from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that claimed it was only investigating the lab leak as one possible theory.
“And so, while the intelligence community continues to do its work, they should continue to do that, and verify so that we are certain, I can tell you that there is a significant amount of evidence that this came from that laboratory in Wuhan,” Pompeo explained.
The fake news media tries to spin Donald Trump and others that state the virus escaped from a Chinese lab as “conspiracy theorists.”
That’s because so-called reporters only care about defeating Donald Trump in November.
Fake news “reporters” want Americans to think the coronavirus outbreak and the ravages it inflicted upon America are solely the fault of Donald Trump.
But the truth is this virus originated in a Chinese laboratory and spread around the world because of the lying, incompetence and efforts to conceal the truth undertaken by the Chinese government.
