Ever since Donald Trump won the election, RINOs in Congress have plotted against him.
But there was one traitor who stood out above the rest.
And with just one tweet, Trump put them on notice.
Congress Refuses To Fund Trump’s Wall
Trump promised to build a wall on the Southern border.
Many experts agree he won the election because of his stance on immigration.
But ever since he won, pro-amnesty Republicans led by Paul Ryan have blocked any wall funding.
They always tell Trump to wait until the next funding fight.
They claim a government shutdown will hurt the GOP.
That is nonsense.
The GOP gained nine Senate seats one year after they shut down the government in 2013.
I want to know, where is the money for Border Security and the WALL in this ridiculous Spending Bill, and where will it come from after the Midterms? Dems are obstructing Law Enforcement and Border Security. REPUBLICANS MUST FINALLY GET TOUGH!
Trump also blasted Democrats for blocking wall funding.
“The entire Democrat life is to try and make sure we don’t have a wall,” he said. “Not because we don’t need it because we do. But because that was a promise that I made, and they want to try to make sure I don’t deliver on that promise.”
Why Won’t Republicans Fund The Wall?
Republican leadership supports open borders and amnesty.
Speaker Paul Ryan favors mass migration and granting illegal aliens citizenship to reward the Republican donor class.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also agrees with this anti-American agenda.
Big money GOP donors demand an unending flow of cheap labor.
Republicans like Ryan also buy into the myth that supporting amnesty will help Republicans win the Hispanic vote.
They cling to George W. Bush winning 44 percent of the Hispanic vote in 2004.
But that number is inflated because Bush was the popular governor of Texas with a large Latino population.
In addition, Bush also won fewer Electoral College votes than Donald Trump, despite winning a greater percentage of the Hispanic vote.
Finally, history proves Hispanic voters don’t care about amnesty.
In 1984, Ronald Reagan won 37 percent of the Hispanic vote.
Reagan then signed amnesty legislation in 1986.
In the 1988 Presidential election, George H.W. Bush only won 30 percent of the Hispanic vote.
Republicans share of the Hispanic vote declined despite supporting amnesty.
Paul Ryan Refuses To Answer This Question
Trump raised an important question in his tweet.
Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have not told him how they will win money for the wall in the December funding bill.
Republicans best leverage is the September 30th deadline.
If Democrats win one or both houses of Congress, they have no reason to give Trump any money.
Trump is onto Ryan and McConnell.
He knows they are stringing this fight along.
He also knows they have no intention of ever funding the wall.
But Trump can still turn this around.
He can veto the government funding bill.
Trump would then force the fight to when they have the most leverage – before the midterm election.
