Joe Biden has a message that is putting Americans in danger.
He doesn’t understand the long-term damage he’s creating.
Donald Trump was forced to give Joe Biden a serious warning for this one word.
Former President Donald Trump blasted President Joe Biden for his nuclear “Armageddon” comments at a rally over the weekend.
Trump said that the United States is “saying exactly the wrong thing” to Russia.
“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” Biden told supporters at a Democratic fundraiser in New York City last Thursday.
Biden admitted that he was still trying to figure out Putin’s “off-ramp” in Ukraine and warned of nuclear war.
“First time since the Cuban Missile Crisis we have a direct threat of the use of nuclear weapons if, in fact, things continue down the path they are going,” he said.
Biden also said he knew Putin “fairly well.”
“He’s not joking when he talks about potential use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons because his military is, you might say, significantly underperforming,” he said.
If Putin did decide to use a nuclear weapon, Biden predicted the worst.
“I don’t think there’s any such thing as the ability to easily [use] a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon.”
Trump argued Sunday that U.S. leaders should be encouraging peace instead of using heated rhetoric.
“We have to be very smart and very nimble. We have to know what to say, what to do. And we are saying exactly the wrong thing. We’ll end up in a World War III,” Trump said at his Sunday rally, his second such event in two days.
“We must demand immediate negotiation of a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine, or we will end up in World War III and there will never be a war like this,” he continued. “We will never have had a war like this, and that’s all because of stupid people that don’t have a clue. And it’s also because of the kind of weaponry that’s available today.”
Trump added, “We have a president who is cognitively impaired and in no condition to lead our country and is now casually talking about nuclear war with Russia, which would be World War III and far more devastating than any of the previous wars because of the weaponry that no one even wants to think about or discuss.”
Trump said earlier this year that Biden’s foreign policy disasters encouraged Putin to invade.
“He [Putin] saw the weakness and, you know, it really started with the weakness in Afghanistan. The way they pulled out of Afghanistan. I really believe that’s where he started thinking he could do this.” Trump told Fox News.
