All the experts in Washington and the media believe the cake for the 2020 Presidential Election is already baked.
These so-called “wise men” smugly predict President Trump is dead meat due to his approval ratings and poll matchups against top Democrat challengers.
But you won’t believe who just predicted Donald Trump will win in 2020.
Harry Reid has been known to be able to survey the political environment and read which way the wind was blowing.
Reid built one of the most formidable election machines in American political history that helped power Barack Obama’s victory and subsequent ability to steamroll his socialist agenda through Congress.
And Harry Reid has a warning for Democrats – Donald Trump has a good chance of winning re-election in 2020.
The Daily Beast exclusively reports on their interview with former Nevada Senator Harry Reid:
Harry Reid has spent decades building a reputation as a stone cold pragmatist and a master political tactician.
Which is why he barely hesitated when asked about the possibility that Donald Trump—a man he fears and despises—could win re-election in 2020.
“I’m pretty damn worried,” the former Senate majority leader said in an interview with The Daily Beast last week, a day before deadly shootings in El Paso and Dayton.
“Anybody that thinks he’s going to be beaten easily is wrong. As sad as it is. As hard as it is for me to say this: don’t count that man out.”
Reid isn’t the only prominent Democrat blaring a warning signal that Donald Trump is in a much stronger position to win re-election than many in the party believe.
Current Presidential candidate and former Montana Governor Steve Bullock cautioned Trump’s odds of winning re-election increase every day.
“I saw his reelection becoming more likely with each passing minute,” Bullock said Wednesday at the National Press Club. “Please permit me to take everyone out of the ‘Twitterverse’ for at least a minute and bring us back to Earth. We cannot defeat Trump’s politics of personal destruction if we practice self-destruction.”
“We are well on our way to losing this election long before it ever really has started,” Bullock added.
There is polling evidence to suggest that Donald Trump’s political standing rests on much firmer ground than many so-called “experts” believe.
New York Times polling analyst Nate Cohn pointed out that Donald Trump’s approval rating is rising – especially in polls where respondents speak to a live operator.
In 2016, Trump’s approval rating in online polls where respondents did not have to tell a human operator that they supported Trump was higher than polls where they spoke to a live operator.
Something that has interested me in recent months: Trump's approval rating has increased a bit in live interview polls, both surpassing the online polls (for the first time) and reaching the highest levels of term https://t.co/WLc7KudRZg

I often see a 2016-based view of 2020 in my replies. They take Trump '16 support, and then say Dems can win with incremental changes like higher black turnout or a better candidate.
I don't think that assumption works, in part bc Trump is also stronger than he was in '16— Nate Cohn (@Nate_Cohn) August 7, 2019
All of these warning signs should serve to temper Democrats’ confidence in winning the 2016 election.
But if Americans watch just five minutes of CNN or MSNBC they would be blind to this reality.
