Dr. Anthony Fauci is one of the architects of the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The public looks to Dr. Fauci for reassurance on when the economy can reopen.
And Dr. Fauci delivered some really bad news that no American wanted to hear.
Protests are popping up in states across the country where citizens are rallying against the tyrannical lockdown orders imposed by governors across the country.
California, Minnesota, Virginia, Michigan, Colorado, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania all saw the public rally against the fascist orders handed down by Democrat governors that went far beyond public health.
President Trump defended the protestors from a fake news smear campaign, noting that protesting is an enshrined right under the First Amendment.
“You’re allowed to protest.… I watched a protest and they were all six feet apart, I mean it was a very orderly group of people,” Trump told the press. “But you know, some governors have gone too far. Some of the things that happened are, uh, maybe not so appropriate, and I think in the end it’s not gonna matter because we’re starting to open up our states.
“I see protesters for all sorts of things, and I’m with everybody,” the President added.
The following day, Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and contradicted the President.
Dr. Fauci claimed that if the economy reopened too soon, a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic would strike.
“I think the message is, clearly, this is something that is hurting from the standpoint of economics and the standpoint of things that have nothing to do with the virus, but unless we get the virus under control, the real recovery economically is not going to happen. So what you do if you jump the gun and go into a situation where you have a big spike, you’re going to set yourself back. So as painful as it is to go by the careful guidelines of gradually phasing into a reopening, it’s going to backfire. That’s the problem,” Dr. Fauci told host George Stephanopoulos.
Dr. Fauci and other health experts can’t see the forest for the trees.
Their concern is controlling the spread of the infection.
That can be done by keeping Americans inside for weeks and months.
But that will inflict untold economic devastation on the country.
Already, 22 million Americans have lost their jobs.
That number could double by July 1 if governors following the advice of so-called “public health experts” lock down their economies completely into June.
The President’s social distancing guidelines expire on April 30 and Donald Trump understands that unless Americans begin to head back to work in May as part of a phased reopening, the American economy could go under.
Protests against the lockdowns will only grow as May drags on and the public does not see governors moving to reopen their economy and instead fall back on the doom and gloom scenarios of so-called “experts” that botched the coronavirus prediction models in the first place.
