CNN is one of the many liberal media outlets engaged in a full-blown meltdown after Elon Musk purchased Twitter.
But CNN picking a fight with Elon Musk backfired big time.
Elon Musk produced the smoking gun video that will doom CNN.
Musk purchased Twitter after growing fed up with the woke left’s online censorship regime.
Ever since purchasing Twitter, Musk’s taken great joy in tweaking the social justice warriors on the left.
The latest example being Musk mocking the #StayWoke t-shirts he found in a closet at Twitter’s headquarters.

Musk then posted that the sweatshirts were a remnant from the Ferguson protests which were based on the “hands up, don’t shoot” lie.
“Woke” was a word that entered the American discourse following the original Black Lives Matter riots in Ferguson, Missouri following police officer Darren Wilson killing Michael Brown after Brown physically attacked Wilson.
Those riots produced the “hands up, don’t shoot” meme that the left circulated falsely claiming that Wilson shot Brown after Brown tried to surrender.
The corporate press drowned Musk in negative coverage after Musk reinstated Donald Trump’s account and pledged to eliminate censorship rules.
And Musk’s tweets about #StayWoke and the Black Lives Matter lie about “hands up, don’t shoot” sent CNN host Don Lemon into meltdown mode.
In an ironically named “facts first” segment Lemon admitted that the Obama administration found no evidence for “hands up, don’t shoot” but that it was true anyway because many people felt the Ferguson police mistreated black residents.
“The DOJ did not find grounds to charge the officer but in a separate report that same day, it did find evidence of systematic racial discrimination in Ferguson at the hands of the city’s police department and municipal court,” Lemon told viewers.
“So remember, ‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ after Ferguson became a nationwide protest symbol for police mistreatment of minorities. It was about more than the shooting of Michael Brown. It was about the pattern of police shootings and brutality in this country,” Lemon continued.
Lemon’s piece was an example of the new style of “fact checking” the corporate press engages in where they take a true statement and label it false because it lacks “context.”
Lacking context means someone – usually a Republican – made a factually accurate statement but they did not use the same language or talking points that Democrats do and therefore made a “false” statement.
The Obama administration’s own Justice Department – which itself was highly political and served as a tool for the left – produced a report stating that there was no evidence that Officer Wilson shot Brown while trying to surrender.
“There are no credible witness accounts that state that Brown was clearly attempting to surrender when Wilson shot him. As detailed throughout this report, those witnesses who say so have given accounts that could not be relied upon in a prosecution because they are irreconcilable with the physical evidence, inconsistent with the credible accounts of other eyewitnesses, inconsistent with the witness’s own prior statements, or in some instances, because the witnesses have acknowledged that their initial accounts were untrue,” the report stated.
In the last six years the media became more partisan.
One of the narratives the press now pushes is that everything conservatives say is false or misleading.
CNN and Don Lemon attacked Elon Musk for making a statement that is true by claiming it is actually false because Democrats have a different spin on events.
But more and more Americans are catching on to this game which is why polls show trust in the corporate press is at an all-time low.
