President Obama’s former top law enforcement officer just said something that will insult every single American.
Eric Holder’s words are unforgivable.
And this time, he may have finally crossed a line.
Eric Holder hates America.
He admitted as such this past week when he tried to take a shot at President Trump that horrifically backfired.
The Daily Caller reports, “Former Attorney General Eric Holder doesn’t seem to think America was ever great. Holder derided President Donald Trump’s slogan ‘Make America Great Again’ as a celebration of a mythology that ‘never really in fact existed’ on MSNBC’s ‘The Beat’ Wednesday.”
This is a man who served as America’s top law enforcement officer and he can’t possibly come up with a single example of when America was great.
Worse yet, he seems to mock the idea that America was ever great.
“When I hear these things about ‘Let’s make America great again,’ I think to myself: ‘Exactly when did you think America was great?’” said Holder.
Holder showed just how much he holds the United States, the same country that he served in such a high and prestigious position in, in such contempt.
“Rejecting any conception of American exceptionalism, Holder said America has simply not been ‘great’ in the past,” adds the Daily Caller.
This is unbelievably insulting to every American.
America was great by overthrowing the tyranny of the British Crown during the Revolutionary War.
America was great during World War II when she liberated millions of people around the world from the horrors of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.
America was great when the Civil Rights Movement led to the downfall of Democrat-backed segregation.
America was great when she placed men on the moon.
And America was great when she defeated the evils of socialism and communism at the end of the Cold War.
These are just a few examples of the greatness of America throughout history.
And Eric Holder can’t possibly come up with a single scenario of when America was great.
Either he isn’t trying very hard, or he just doesn’t care.
It could honestly be both.
Of course, Holder was just trying to spite President Trump when he said those hateful words.
But in doing so, he insulted every American, past and present.
Millions of Americans who gave their lives for the freedom of other people around the world, and millions of Americans who fought to uphold freedom and liberty right here at home.
He just showed how much he doesn’t care about any of that.
And yet, this man wants to become president of the United States.
He may even announce a run very soon.
And with his anti-American platform, Holder stands a great chance of winning the Democratic nomination, but he has zero chance of ever becoming president.
Holder may have struggled to find any scenario of when America was great, but it’s clear America wasn’t great when he was Attorney General.
