Senate Republicans continue to untangle the FBI’s conspiracy against Donald Trump.
James Comey and his crew continue to get bad news.
And the FBI dug its own grave when this bombshell about what they did to Trump surfaced.
Republicans Investigation Into The FBI Spying On Trump Takes A Turn For The Worse
Republicans are not giving up on uncovering the FBI’s plot to spy on Donald Trump.
So-called journalists and the Democrat Party are doing their best to ignore or bury this story.
But as Republicans continue to dig into this scandal, the FBI continues to get bad news.
The latest bombshell is Republicans uncovering a new link between the Clinton campaign and the FBI.
Hillary Clinton used the law firm of Perkins Coie to hire Fusion GPS to put together the fake news Russia dossier.
Former FBI lawyer James Baker met with Michael Sussmann – a lawyer at Perkins Coie – multiple times in 2016.
Senator Ron Johnson is now demanding the FBI turnover the 302s for any meeting between Sussmann and Justice Department official Bruce Ohr.
“To better understand the FBI’s interactions with these two individuals, I request that you produce all communications and documents, including the FD-302s, memorializing the FBI’s communications with Michael Sussmann and Bruce Ohr,” Johnson wrote.
However, a spokesman for Perkins Coie claimed Sussmann did not meet with Baker on behalf of Hillary Clinton or the Democrat National Committee.
They said it was for other clients.
“Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Michael Sussmann served as a cybercrime prosecutor in the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice during both Republican and Democratic administrations. As a result, Sussmann is regularly retained by clients with complex cybersecurity matters,” a Perkins Coie spokesman stated.
“When Sussmann met with Mr. Baker on behalf of a client, it was not connected to the firm’s representation of the Hillary Clinton Campaign, the DNC or any Political Law Group client.”
But that doesn’t mean Sussmann did not meet with Baker at other times to pass along fake news about Trump and Russia.
The FBI-Clinton Connection Grows
The House Intelligence Committee released a report where they stated that a Perkins Coie lawyer passed along information about a server in Trump Tower connecting with the Alfa Bank in Russia.
Investigators believe Sussmann was this individual.
The Trump Tower server story was another piece of fake news that dropped late in the 2016 campaign.
Fusion GPS and ex-British intelligence agent Christopher Steele pushed the story that a computer server in Trump Tower was communicating with a bank in Russia.
They claimed this was the smoking gun that proved collusion.
But it was more fake news.
The FBI began investigating the server in 2016.
They found no evidence that the servers actually communicated.
FBI agents believed the Alfa Bank server could have been sending out “look up” messages for the Trump Tower server for mass marketing emails or spam.
The longer everyone looks at the FBI’s conduct in 2016, the fishier it appears.
And the FBI’s unwillingness to turn over documents to Congress leads many Americans to believe a cover-up is underway.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
