Special Counsel Robert Mueller tried to nail Donald Trump.
He is cranking up the heat on his quest to remove the President from office.
But one secret email just drove the final nail in Mueller’s coffin.
Mueller is neck deep in an ever growing credibility crisis.
Revelations that one of his chief investigators fired off anti-Trump text messages rocked the Mueller probe and called its legitimacy into question.
The howls from critics increased when it was discovered that prosecutor Andrew Weissmann – one of Mueller’s most controversial hires – sent an email to Sally Yates – the Obama appointee who, as acting Attorney General, refused to defend Trump’s executive order banning travel from terrorist connected countries – and praised her for her decision.
The Daily Caller reports:
“Andrew Weissmann, an attorney working for special counsel Robert Mueller, praised former acting Attorney General Sally Yates for refusing to enforce President Trump’s travel ban, emails released Tuesday reveal.
“I am so proud. And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects,” Weissmann wrote to Yates on Jan. 30. That same day, Yates told the Justice Department not to defend an executive order banning immigration from seven nations, an act that led to her dismissal by President Trump.
The emails were obtained by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.
“This is an astonishing and disturbing find. Andrew Weissmann, a key prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, praised Obama DOJ holdover Sally Yates after she lawlessly thwarted President Trump,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “How much more evidence do we need that the Mueller operation has been irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump partisans? Shut it down.”
Weissmann is one of many Democratic donors that have been hired by Mueller to work on his probe into Russian election interference. Weissmann gave a combined $6,600 to the presidential campaigns for both former President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”
And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Circa’s Sara Carter reports there are even more members of Mueller’s team engaged in anti-Trump political activism.
Zero Hedge reports:
“Days after it emerged that former Special Counsel investigator Peter Strzok was fired from Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia probe in August for sending anti-Trump text messages to his mistress while the two were working together on the Clinton email investigation, Sara Carter of Circa told a Fox News panel that there are more anti-Trump messages sent by Mueller’s team floating around.
Carter previously emerged as one of the handful of people to review documents obtained by an undercover FBI informant embedded in the Russian uranium industry. Appearing on Hannity’s show Monday night, Carter was asked about rumors of more anti-Trump sentiment expressed by Mueller’s team:
Sean Hannity: I’m hearing rumors all over the place Sara Carter that there are other anti-Trump text-emails out there. And we know about them.
Sara Carter: I think you’re hearing correctly Sean and I think a lot more is going to come out. In fact, I know a lot more is going to come out based on the sources I’ve spoken to.”
The Mueller investigation is fatally compromised.
It’s clear it’s nothing more than a witch hunt that used the fake news about Russian collusion to dig around Trump’s life and create a pretext for impeachment.
Trump should fire Mueller and put a stop to this partisan lynch mob.
