Liberal critics claim Tucker Carlson operates without supervision at Fox News.
But now Fox News and Carlson are facing criticism from an unlikely source.
Fox News just got accused of pressuring Tucker Carlson to do something terrible.
Tucker Carlson’s run several monologues criticizing the Washington D.C. foreign policy establishment for trying to manipulate an obviously cognitively impaired Joe Biden into war with Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin amassed 175,000 troops on the border with Ukraine.
Carlson explained that Putin threatened an invasion as a bulwark against NATO expanding into the former Soviet republics in Eastern Europe which Putin saw as a threat to Russian national security.
The top-rated Fox News host explained the same neocons and Deep State rogues that tried to impeach Donald Trump over the Ukraine hoax are now attempting to push the United States into a shooting war with Russia over Ukraine – a country that presents no national security interests to the United States.
Newsmax host Grant Stinchfield blasted Fox News and Carlson claiming that Fox News Channel’s liberal bosses pressured Carlson to attack the D.C. swamp manipulating Joe Biden into war with Russia.
“Fox News’ lurched to the left is maddening for nearly every conservative, including myself,” Stinchfield stated. “And I wonder now, if the leftist leaders of this Trojan horse of a so-called conservative network has compromised Tucker Carlson. Now, Tucker is a man that I have absolute great respect for. The fact is Tucker and I agree on most issues, which is why I’m baffled by his defense of Russia’s Vladimir Putin. Unless of course, is Tucker operating under duress? Why else would he proclaim something like this about NATO and Vladimir Putin?”
Stinchfield also claimed that “at this point, NATO exists primarily to torment Vladimir Putin, who, whatever his many faults, has no intention of invading western Europe. Vladimir Putin does not want Belgium. He just wants to keep his western border secure. That’s why he doesn’t want Ukraine to join NATO, and that makes sense.”
Stinchfield did agree with Carlson that Russia felt threatened by NATO, but that a weakened Russia was good for the United States.
“Well, Tucker’s right – that from Vladimir Putin’s perspective, it does make sense,” he said. “But who cares what Vladimir Putin thinks? This is a rogue dictator that hates America. He is dangerous and he wants nothing more than to expand his global reach,” Stinchfield added.
However, a war with Russia over Ukraine makes no sense.
Two nuclear powers have never engaged in a shooting war before.
There is a good reason for that.
Leaders fear such a conflict could quickly spiral out of control and lead to an exchange of nuclear weapons – something that has never occurred and could lead to the end of civilization as we know it.
That’s why Tucker Carlson opposes war with Russia.
A conflict with the Russians over Ukraine holds no benefit to the United States and could lead to hundreds of millions – or billions – of deaths if a Russia-U.S. war escalated beyond anyone’s control.
