Fox News can’t help but work overtime to prove how much they hate President Trump.
They seem to be trying to make up for all the fair coverage they gave him going into 2016.
And the network just hit a new low with an anti-Trump attack that will make you sick.
With a few notable exceptions, Fox News has joined the anti-Trump resistance.
Most anchors are all on board with impeachment, and are parroting Democrat claims about their efforts.
But over the Thanksgiving holiday, one would expect the network to at least give him credit for visiting U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
And some did, with Fox News’ Chris Wallace giving his approval.
“We were all surprised when suddenly we heard the president was in Afghanistan, I’m sure he genuinely wanted to support the U.S. forces, those wonderful men and women who were defending us on the front lines in Afghanistan,” Wallace said.
But Fox News commentator Juan Williams couldn’t seem to disagree more, instead stating that his trip “looks like a photo-op.”
Williams went on to attack Trump for not visiting the country before, and for not visiting a war zone while being President until Christmas of last year when he visited Iraq.
“Remember, he hadn’t gone to visit any war zone until last year, he was criticized for it. This is the first visit to Afghanistan, our longest war, 2,000 plus Americans dead. He had no preparation,” Williams said.
He couldn’t help but attack Trump for an act of good will for the troops.
And Trump has done far more than “photo ops” to show support for the military.
His 2020 budget included a 3.1 percent increase in military pay, which is the highest increase in a decade.
Trump has also overseen operations that have virtually eliminated ISIS forces, killing the terrorist group’s founder earlier this year.
It is wins like this that lend him strong approval from military veterans.
Recent polling shows that 57 percent of veterans approve of President Trump, compared to just 32 percent that approved of Barack Obama in a 2014 poll.
But Fox News anchors like Juan Williams would rather try to claim that Trump doesn’t care about the troops than listen to what they actually believe.
Trump was given an ecstatic welcome from U.S. troops during his visit.
And he took time to sit down and join them for Thanksgiving dinner to show his appreciation for their great sacrifice.
It should have been a moment for Americans, including those who disagree with the President, to come together to respect him taking the time to travel overseas to surprise them.
Williams has been a long-time critic of President Trump, calling him an “idiot” earlier this year, along with claiming that Trump finds it “valuable” to “attack people of color,” while providing no evidence to back his claim.
