Fox News produced a smoking gun that will have Joe Biden begging for help.
The crisis at the southern border is the biggest political vulnerability Democrats face this election cycle.
Joe Biden opened the border by rolling back Donald Trump’s successful immigration policies.
A predictable catastrophe ensued as more than four million illegal aliens have invaded America during Joe Biden’s time in office.
One of the low points of the border crisis was a human tragedy where 14,000 Haitian illegal aliens crossed into Del Rio, Texas and set up a shanty town under a bridge.
Joe Biden’s open borders agenda created a magnet attracting desperate people to live in filthy and unsanitary conditions.
A left-wing activist posted a photo on Twitter that a news photographer took of a Border Patrol agent on horseback chasing down Haitian illegal aliens trying to sneak into the country.
The liberal claims the agent was whipping illegal aliens in a scene out of the slave trade from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Joe Biden appeared at a press conference and attacked the Border Patrol agents as racists and promised to punish them.
“To see people treated like they did, horses barely running over, people being strapped — it’s outrageous,” Biden ranted. “I promise you, those people will pay. There will be an investigation underway now, and there will be consequences. There will be consequences.”
But this was all a fake news lie.
Left-wing activists and coastal elites in the news media were too ignorant to notice that the agent merely held reins for the horse in his hand.
But after Biden’s press conference Fox News reported that an official at the Department of Homeland Security alerted Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of the fact that the news photographer that snapped the picture never saw an agent whip illegal aliens.
“But just hours after Biden made his inflammatory remarks to cameras, Marsha Espinosa, assistant secretary of DHS public affairs, emailed Mayorkas and cc’d other DHS leadership, alerting them to a news article that showed that the photographer who took the images did not see any whipping. In the email, Espinosa highlighted the comments from the photographer where he directly says he did not witness any whipping,” Fox News reported.
That did not stop Mayorkas from appearing at a press conference hours later and smearing the Border Patrol agents as racists from bygone time.
“Our nation saw horrifying images that do not reflect who we are. We know that those images painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism,” Mayorkas raged.
“The images horrified us in terms of what they suggest and what they conjure up,” Mayorkas ranted.
But Mayorkas was lying.
No one got whipped and an internal investigation cleared the Border Patrol agents of the smears amplified by pro-open borders leftists like Biden and Mayorkas.
“The investigation found ‘no evidence’ that agents struck migrants and found that they were not carrying whips. An agent was accused of using ‘denigrating and offensive’ language against migrants regarding national origin and gender, and of having maneuvered a horse around a child in an ‘unsafe manner’ – while agents were said to have used ‘unnecessary use of force’ to drive the migrants back,” Fox News also reported.
This story is a disaster for Democrats.
Polls show Republicans hold a wide lead over Democrats on the issue of immigration.
And any stories that keep the border crisis on the front burners means Americans will be talking about illegal immigration as a top issue in the final weeks of the campaign.
