Donald Trump is about to make the biggest decision of his Presidency.
The President announced he will reveal who he is nominating to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
And Fox News warned Donald Trump he was on the verge of this Supreme Court.
Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano turned from a conservative legal commentator to knee-jerk Never Trump partisan.
After alienating millions of viewers with his anti-Trump commentary during the impeachment hoax, Judge Napolitano was revving up his doomsaying now that a vacancy opened up on the Supreme Court.
Napolitano predicted “World War III” over the confirmation proceedings for Ginsburg’s successor and that Republican senators running for re-election in battleground states were “playing with fire.”
“This will be a World War III of political battles. And it will be right in the middle of a presidential election. And it’ll all be aimed at those six vulnerable Republicans, one of whom is going to be front and center,” Napolitano stated.
Napolitano also predicted that Democrats – led by Biden’s running mate and Judiciary Committee member Kamala Harris–will make a major push to defeat Donald Trump’s nominee.
“Senator Lindsey Graham himself is running behind in his reelection bid in South Carolina. And if this nomination comes to pass, he’ll be presiding over a few days of Senate Judiciary Committee hearings. And one of the Democrats on that committee is running for vice president with Joe Biden, Senator Kamala Harris. So we are in for some exciting, depressing — however, you want to look at it — times.”
In reality, there is next to nothing Democrats can do to stop President Trump and Senate Republicans from filling Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham announced on Sean Hannity’s show that Republicans had the votes necessary to confirm President Trump’s pick before the election.
The following day, even Never Trump RINO Mitt Romney announced he would support a vote on President Trump’s nominee and would vote to confirm that person if they were qualified.
Judge Napolitano’s political analysis may have been even more atrocious than his ability to count votes.
In 2016, voters that listed the Supreme Court as their top issue broke 56 percent to 41 percent for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.
During the 2018 elections, voters punished Democrats for the false allegations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh by voting four Democrat senators that opposed his confirmation out of office which in turn grew the Republican Senate majority by two seats.
The Supreme Court has always been a winning issue for the Republican Party.
And the open seat allows the President to frame this as a choice election between himself and Joe Biden, which is a contest the President can win.
