Donald Trump floated the idea that George Soros could be funding the migrant caravan marching toward the Southern border.
The fake news media had been working hard to cover up the truth about Soros.
But one bombshell just proved everyone’s worst fears were true.
Media Declares Attacks On Soros Off Limits
The fake news media spent weeks trying to cover up George Soros’s link to the migrants pouring into other countries.
In fact, the anti-Semitic bigot who carried out the massacre at a synagogue in Pittsburgh believed Soros was part of a Jewish conspiracy to replace native Western population with migrants.
So the media tried to silence all criticism of Soros and his support for open borders and mass migration.
Of course, liberal journalists also support mass migration and open borders.
They also know Donald Trump boosted GOP enthusiasm in the midterm elections by making the migrant caravan invading America the top issue.
So the press worked to paint those who oppose mass migration with the stench of bigotry.
The Media Tries To Trap Trump
Reporters questioned Trump if he believed Soros was funding the migrant caravan.
The President did not take the bait.
He offered a noncommittal response to their questions.
“I don’t know who, but I wouldn’t be surprised. A lot of people say yes,” Trump answered. “I wouldn’t be surprised, yeah. I wouldn’t be surprised.”
Liberal journalists want to trick Americans into thinking Soros has no involvement with the migrants.
But the media ignores one simple fact.
Soros admitted in 2016 to funding migrants and their causes.
In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, he announces his plan to spend $500 million on programs to benefit migrants.
Soros wrote:
Recognizing this, the Obama administration recently launched a “Call to Action” asking U.S. companies to play a bigger role in meeting the challenges posed by forced migration. Today, private-sector leaders are assembling at the United Nations to make concrete commitments to help solve the problem.
In response, I have decided to earmark $500 million for investments that specifically address the needs of migrants, refugees and host communities. I will invest in startups, established companies, social-impact initiatives and businesses founded by migrants and refugees themselves. Although my main concern is to help migrants and refugees arriving in Europe, I will be looking for good investment ideas that will benefit migrants all over the world.
This commitment of investment equity will complement the philanthropic contributions my foundations have made to address forced migration, a problem we have been working on globally for decades and to which we have dedicated significant financial resources.
The Truth About George Soros
Soros is a big donor to liberal causes – and some include programs to benefit migrants.
He’s donated $75 million to federal candidates and $32 billion to his Open Society Foundation.
The Open Society foundation funds liberal groups and causes.
The media and so-called “journalists” want to wall-off Soros from scrutiny because he supports their preferred policy outcomes.
These are the same journalists who devoted endless barrels of ink and hours of airtime attacking the Koch brothers for funding the Tea Party.
Now, criticizing a political mega-donor is suddenly off limits.
