Hillary Clinton’s legal issues are not going away.
There was one big scandal that came out of the campaign that is still haunting her.
And Clinton just got some very bad news.
There is only one campaign in the 2016 election that colluded with foreign spies: Hillary Clinton’s.
Her campaign hired the law firm of Perkins Coie, which in turn hired Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Donald Trump.
Fusion GPS then used Clinton’s money to hire ex-British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, who colluded with Russian intelligence sources to put together the fake news Russia dossier.
Clinton figured she had successfully hid her collusion through a series of cutouts, but she just got slapped with a complaint that ripped the scandal wide open.
The Coolidge Reagan Foundation – a nonpartisan, nonprofit group – filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against the Clinton campaign, Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee, and Christopher Steele, alleging that the Clinton campaign hid the fact that it laundered money through Perkins Coie in order to hire Fusion GPS and Steele.
In the complaint, the Coolidge Reagan Foundation alleges it was actually the Clinton Foundation who violated FEC laws by hiring a foreigner – Christopher Steele – to participate in the 2016 election.
The complaint read, “For over a year, Democratic officials have accused the Trump Administration of collaborating with foreign interlopers to influence the outcome of the 2016 Presidential election. In reality, it was the Clinton-backed Democratic machine that conspired with foreigners in violation of both federal campaign finance law and basic decency to manipulate the election.”
During the campaign, the Clintons were required to report what vendors they were paying and for what reason.
On their financial reports, the Clinton campaign claimed they were paying Perkins Coie for legal and compliance services, legal and compliance consulting, travel, office supplies, printing and copying, data services subscriptions, postage and shipping, catering, food and beverage, internet, cellular/mobile, administrative fees, research consulting, and data analytics.
The complaint alleges that the Clintons concealed the true purpose of why they hired Perkins Coie – to use them as a middle man to fund a smear operation against Donald Trump.
In the complaint it states, “None of these entries accurately describe the DNC’s payments to Perkins Coie for Fusion GPS’s opposition research into Donald Trump.”
“By using Perkins Coie as a straw man intermediary for this pervasively political, non-legal work, [Hillary for America] and the DNC were able to mask their relationship to Fusion GPS from the public in the critical weeks before the 2016 presidential election, in direct violation of federal campaign finance law,” the complaint read.
This proves once again that the real scandal in the 2016 election was Hillary Clinton’s collusion with the Russians.
Two years of investigations have produced no evidence or charges that Trump, nor any members of his campaign, colluded with the Russians.
But there is a mountain of evidence proving that the Clinton campaign colluded with a foreign spy who worked with the Russians—all to frame Donald Trump as the one coordinating with the Russians.
