No Democrat in America was prepared for this bombshell.
It threw the entire 2020 race into chaos.
And that’s because Hillary Clinton is about to enter the 2020 race. This is how she will do it.
During a recent interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Hillary Clinton left the door open to serving as the Vice Presidential running mate on the eventual Democrat ticket by claiming you “never say never” about being offered the position.
That comment seemed like another throw away remark by Clinton that was just designed to make the media keep talking about it.
But it quickly changed into something more.
Matt Drudge broke an exclusive story that based on polling data, Hillary Clinton is the strongest possible running mate for Mike Bloomberg to select.
Drudge claimed that Bloomberg would change his residency to Florida or Colorado to avoid any hiccups with Electoral College voters possibly not being allowed to cast their votes for a ticket that contains a President and Vice President from the same state.
“Sources close to Bloomberg campaign tell DRUDGE REPORT that candidate is considering Hillary as running mate, after their polling found the Bloomberg-Clinton combination would be a formidable force… Bloomberg himself would go as far as to change his official residence from NY to homes he owns in CO or FL, since electoral college makes it hard for a POTUS and VPOTUS to be from same state,” Drudge reported.
This story set social media ablaze.
But a closer examination revealed there may be more to this report by Drudge than meets the eye.
Bloomberg is rising in the polls thanks to $400 million dollars in TV ad spending.
But now that Bloomberg is in the top tier, the RINO Republican turned independent turned Democrat is now attracting scrutiny.
Fake news reporters are zeroing in on Bloomberg’s long history of making what Democrats in 2020 now consider racist and sexist remarks.
The Washington Post published a major story on the day Drudge dropped the Clinton bombshell reporting on the numerous lawsuits filed by women against Bloomberg.
The Post highlighted a complaint filed by saleswoman Sekiko Sakai Garrison against Bloomberg about his treatment of women.
The Post reported that her complaint alleged that “Bloomberg was having a photograph taken with two female company salespeople and a group of N.Y.U. Business School students, in the company snack area. When Bloomberg noticed Garrison standing nearby, he asked, ‘Why didn’t they ask you to be in the picture? I guess they saw your face.’”
Garrison also alleged that Bloomberg demanded a pregnant woman “kill” her baby because pregnant women led to decreased productivity for his company.
Continuing his penchant for ridiculing recently married women in his employ, Bloomberg asked plaintiff, “How’s married life? You married?” Plaintiff responded that her marriage was great and was going to get better in a few months: that she was pregnant, and the baby was due the following September. He responded to her “Kill it!” Plaintiff asked Bloomberg to repeat himself, and again he said, “Kill it!” and muttered, “Great! Number 16!” suggesting to plaintiff his unhappiness that sixteen women in the company had maternity-related status.
Many political observers believe the leak to Drudge about Bloomberg putting Clinton on the ticket was done strategically because there was no chance the media could resist talking about a Bloomberg-Clinton ticket in 2020 and all the dramatic possibilities that it entailed.
The fake news consumed the story like ravenous hyenas and ignored the real story – how Democrat voters would reckon with Bloomberg’s history of offensive comments towards women and minorities.
